Levis Dockers and songkran shirts (my favorite shirts) are 150 baht in Bangkok (if you can even find the songkran shirts back home).  I don't know if the Dockers are used, fake or factory rejects, but they look fine to me.  I've bought a bunch of them.  2 pairs are cheaper than a Mickey-D's burger at the airport.

Yes Lazada and TEMU look cheaper than the shops ,

I wonder if ALI Express are still around?

But of course the downside to buying online is the wait for them to arrive

But yes looks like online is cheaper than the markets and shops at Tuk com

I buy things i need. I dont buy things just because they are cheap.

What do you need?

Mr DIY and local markets are the cheapest places.

Pattaya tourist markets would be double the price of Udon.

Cannabis at 5bht/gm ........ how much in Australia?

3 bedroom house in gated community 2Mbht ....... how much in Australia?

Wife 10kbht/month ........ how much in Australia?

Shipping the house and wife back to Australia would be somewhat costly I would've thought.

Plenty of larger sized shirt a Rong Kluea for under 100b.

Nice, pleasant 2 hr drive from Pattaya, head out early doors... do some shopping, grab a meal and be back home by lunch time.

2 hour drive would cost 1500 baht return in a Grab. Buy 5 shirts total cost 2000 baht. 400 baht each.

Fresh produce at the Untouristy Local Markets(often under the open sky).

Fruit and vegetables are surprisingly inexpensive.

A few days ago, I bought a bag of cherry tomato(10-15 of them), at B5-.

As well as 1.5feet long snake beans at B10-.

And a bunch of bananas(14) at B10-.

If you go to the establishments with strong traveler orientation, everything looks a lot more pricy.

One  common phenomenon in any countries.

Strangely I had a work colleague ask me "George when you go to Thailand will you be buying a whole bunch of clothes ?

The answer was NO !

Absolutely not !

I was planning to go to the Night Bazzaar in Pattaya and buy my favourite pocketed CAMEL shirts for 400 baht and polo shirts and t shirts but.... seems cheaper in Australia

The prices seem to be far far more expensive in Thailand than Kmart in Australia who have T shirts this month and Polo shirts at less than 100 baht equivalent price !! $5

So why would I even buy clothes in Thailand anymore ?

What's cheaper now ,you tell me ,you tell me ,ok tobacco yes your right and thanks for telling me ,but I don't smoke so don't bother !

I wont  appreciate it

I can't see anything worth buying to bring back to Australia that's cheaper than Kmart in Australia

Shoes? iPhones ? Coffee ?

Well coffee is not cheap, please !

Cans of tuna more expensive , peanut butter ,even Lynx  spray deodorant in Australia 80 baht

Well what is cheaper in Thailand, what is worth buying and bringing back ?

Nothing ,that's what ,nothing

ok, please, think about that when it´s time to retire.

Absolutely

I was even forced to eat a cake at the border control desk ,a nice beutifying CHEESE cake I brought back and bluntly refused to hand over !

They threatened to call the Australian Federal police I said I will wait.

He said Eat the cake then ,and then I was forced to eat a creamy beautiful cheese cake in front of several border force police .

I hate Aussie customs with a vengeance, they spend hours turning people over, including body searches, and find nothing. Meantime there's ketamine and amphetamines coming in by the container load. They're a joke.

Key purchase when leaving AUS for Thailand is Cherry Ripes. Brought 50 back last time, 1 every evening after dinner. Got to wait till July for my next fix.

On the other hand, The Lucky Country is bloody minded when it comes to proper Port. Have to have it shipped from the UK.

A lot of stuff at Supersports. Buy online at totally different prices than their shops. I have bought several pairs of Skechers for 900+ baht. Prices begins at 4000 where I come from!

Most expats do it opposite. Bring goods from home country into Thailand. Maybe bring some souvenirs back home with you for friends. I brought back a bottle of whiskey with scorpions and snakes. Kind of a novelty.

Good luck trying to get the snake whiskey past customs, it's a big NO NO

Cheaper, and location dependent of course ...

... Drones, and other RC items & accessories for

... BEVs ... cars & MC, even without govt incentives

... Most things imported from China to home country

... Most things made or produced in TH, and sold overseas

You ask what is cheaper in Thailand.

Ok here goes: Electricity, gas, beer, vegetables, hotels, taxi fares, restaurant meals, rail fares and more. I realise that none of the above can be brought back to Aus so please accept this answer as counter to your Thai bashing post.
