International travel spending in the US is projected to drop by 7 per cent or $12.5 billion in 2025, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

Unpopular Trump administration policies, border crossing anxieties, and an unfavourable exchange rate are cited as key factors deterring international tourists.

The US is the only one of 184 countries experiencing a decline in international visitor spending.

And here I thought it was the mass shootings that was going to get people to stop going to the US. There should have been travel advisories.

Not to worry.  We'll be saving 10x that sending unwelcome travelers back.
