US brokers a deal between long-hostile Armenia and Azerbaijan

The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan plan to sign a joint declaration at the White House on Friday — committing to a peace deal facilitated by the Trump administration that would end nearly four decades of conflict between the two countries.

Both nations are also expected to sign agreements expanding bilateral ties with Washington, a breakthrough made possible because the U.S. helped resolve a dispute over the development of a shared transit corridor, according to three U.S. officials.

Key to easing the long-standing conflict is the agreement on the transit corridor, which includes a commitment to developing the mountainous stretch of Armenian territory between Azerbaijan and its Nakhichevan exclave known as the Zangezur Corridor...

Armenia has agreed to award the U.S. exclusive special development rights on the Zangezur Corridor land for 99 years. The U.S. would sublease the land to a consortium that will develop rail, oil, gas and fiber optic lines and possibly electricity transmission along the 27-mile corridor.

Why don't you. Are these the sort of failures you're thinking of. The border? Tariffs? Investment? Fuel prices? Tax cuts? Finding and stopping billions of wasted tax payer dollars? Illegals being deported? Core inflation tracking at 2.1%. NATO upping their spending? Dismantling DEI? Getting men out of womens sports? Stopping the gender affirmation madness? Bombing Iran's nuclear weapons ambitions back decades? The list goes on. He's doing what he said he'd do. Sure Gaza and Ukraine have yet to be settled but they will be within his term. Trump and Putin will meet in Alaska next week. Let's see what comes out of that. Apart from this the thread is about another peace deal. Do you agree that this is a good thing and Trump deserves some credit or will you simply divert as you usually do and what you have done with your comment to this thread?

I think you will find the laughing emoji is because most people would consider this report to be more Trump more propaganda, he really wants that Nobel peace prize, and is claiming he ending many conflicts around the world.

We have all just witnessed trump claiming credit for ending the Thai Cambodia conflict, when he had nothing to do with it.

It was a deal to facilitate the SURRENDER of Armenia.

Its great if a peace deal can be accomplished but being involved in phone calls or holding a press conference to sell yourself is hardly brokering any peace deal. check your facts on what actually occurred and what involvement trump actually had. Not what he claims or what the WH propaganda machine is puking out.
