Waste trap compatibility

Featured Replies

I'm just in the UK prepping for my next trip over in a few weeks.

One of the jobs to do in my condo is eliminate the smells coming up from my kitchen sink waste.

I have this:

And I want to add this, if it is compatible:

I know it won't finish the same level as my existing, but I'll add a 90 degree after the trap to drop it down.

My questions are:

Will my blue waste fit into the compression end?

(The existing blue is 1 and a 1/4" and the new trap states 32mm).

And, will the other end be the correct thread up onto the sink?

I've only seen FleXi type waste pipes in Thailand and want to avoid them if I can.

Ours (yes the leak has been sorted) sourced locally, in HomePro IIRC.

You should be able to find everything you need here although I think the UK one will fit.

Thanks, I'll pack it as I've now bought it, but good to know that others are available there should I need them.

Thanks again.
