A not so easy question to answer Sir. Certain groups are obviously more at risk than others. A woman is more at risk during childbirth, than a man. Although, if a guy is watching and faints, hits his head and dies?! A person who flies is more at risk of dying in a plane crash than someone who don't fly at all.

 

I'd like BB to be a little more specific. What makes anyone more at risk from natural body functioning, than the next? I honestly don't know. Perhaps someone could enlighten me.

 

In saying that, there could be specific clinical reasons why a person should not cough, or get a high temperature. I'll do a bit of research there.

Very briefly, an at-risk group, medically, means that there is a higher likelihood or a higher incidence of a negative outcome, and this is usually based on a mixture of biological, medical, and other social factors. Medically, it’s about an elevated probability of harm.

@Stiddle Mump > Indeed, always the gentleman.  I have never seen any of your responses insulting or calling other posters names while you do get more than a fair share of verbal abuse.  Instead you always open the dialogue inviting your attackers to discuss the content. 

That's very admirable, and I admit that I do not have that kind of patience with the close-minded, disingenuous AN posters and their cheer-leading 'useful idiots'. 

Yes, I do like debate too.  But think it is a waste of time/energy to do so with those whose response shows they are not interested in the topic posted, but are only venting their anger against anything that challenges their biased, ingrained superficial 'thinking, which just parrots what they have read/heard from the 'authorities'.  Thinking for their own is surely not their forte, and without that basic capability any 'debate' with those parrots is futile. 

Most of the time, I do let it go or use some humor to make my point, but when the insults or lies are too outrageous I respond in an un-gentlemanlike fashion.  After all, I am human and my limits for enduring these low-life responses are way lower than yours.
