Oh yeah, so diverse! Really progressive place it is.....

Your facetiousness, aside, I am sure that you will agree.

Yes, quite tolerant of diversity it is, here.

I agree with you...!!!

  • We understand that you dislike Thailand. Please feel free to leave.

  • Amazes me that people judge an entire country on the few square km they choose to inhabit occasionally.

Everyone has choices, if you cannot cope with the rules, regulations, climate of Thailand, leave, personally, I love it here.

Again, tourists don't come here seeking the ''truth'' they come for fun and there's plenty of it around.

I continue to ask what is fun?

I agree with you, if I wasn't already here with a house, local wife and kids, I wouldn't be coming now as a newly retired person.

The Philippines and Vietnam have just been trashed by storms.

Cambodia is deep in the dodo from the border closures.

There must be somewhere better for n00bs, but I don't know where!

There is no better budget retirement place than Thailand in my eyes.

There is better places to live and work, and Thailand can be good on a international contract working, but for average Joe? I doubt.

South America to much violence and unsafe, while in Thailand, there is no critical areas unless you are stupid, or a Jew.

....Or the tanks happen to be driving down the street and bullets flying over your head.

And what about the security thugs in the bars??

I do not know anything about bullets flying in Thailand, and security thugs in bars, useally and in most cases, those who had incidents in Thailand, had it coming no matter where they where in the world.
