Why does Thailand seem to attract Farang weirdos?

Featured Replies

I can't remember the last sane conversation I had with a foreigner in Thailand.

It's been ages.

Most seem to have something wrong with them, be it a drug addiction, a personality disorder, torrid financial situation or problems with women, most foreigners who visit/live in Thailand seem to be dysfunctional in one way or another.

Again, these have been my experiences. I recently came back from Denmark and it was tremendous, not a single lunatic around at all! Many sane conversations with many sane people, and the women.... drop dead gorgeous, gracious, kind and service minded. Top notch!

It's not just Thailand... I worked at an international school in China once, and was shocked to overhear two expat teachers right in front of me...

T.1 (from Russia): "You know, I like the very young girls, 16, 17... They're more fun."

T.2 (from Western Africa): "Yeah, you're right. They're great."

T.1: "How about that girl (looking very young), you're giving private classes (at school)? Now, she's a real cutie!"

T.2: "Yeah, she is, but she's only 12..." 🤢

Avoided the same miserable, unstable folks back in the USA, as seems lack of money and common sense, decency, are good friends.

That Russian teacher was ridiculously popular with school management, and also taught kids for the school in an outside location at weekends for the financial benefit of, not last, the school administrators, and I didn't want to lose my job...

So you came for the weirdos and stuck around because, surprise, you are one too and normal places just don’t "understand" you. All clear now.

Personally don’t know anyone like that here, though do spot the body language of some from afar and avoid like the plague.

Bob: Thailand is filled with nothing but dysfunctional weirdo farangs who have drug problems, personality disorders, terrible financial woes, problems with women, etc.

Also Bob: I'm never leaving!

Every lunatic back home have to be disciplined and got something to do, and manage to keep themselves distracted and busy, and those other lunatics, who did not manage to fly to Thailand, sit behind their doors in appartments and houses wishing they where in Thailand 🤗😉

You are welcome

Where are you located, Pattaya?

Get the hell out of there, it's riddled with weirdos.

You need to go regional Thailand, Roi Et has really nice foreigners.

We spoke about boring the other day, it's a personal thing.

If you have the right company it's a lot of fun.

That's my point, the majority of the farang clientele are fruit cakes..

Very hard to find the right company here.

A duffle bag full of cash , it's the authorities that would say your money

a few dollars in it . yes I am a weirdo and proud of it....

How many times did you go to Pattaya?

After how many visits did you finally come to the conclusion that most expats there have mental health issues?
