Mop refills from Down Under

Featured Replies

I'm looking for mop refills for a particular brand that comes from Down under.

The previous owner of my condo was from NZ and one of the things he left was this mop, which has now seen better days.

I know a lot of you will say just buy a new one, but I already have a round, spinny type mop that just doesn't cut it. It needs its own bucket, then splashes everywhere, and that's not to mention it doesn't get into the corners.

I know of at least one forum member that might have an idea, I'm just hoping it's not beneath him to answer.

I'll bung it if my only option is to import them.

That looks like the bacteria' mop from hell buy a scotch green one from Lazada here refills also 🤔

Raven brushes, mops and cleaning products are top-notch, and I can understand why you would like to replace like with like.

This is the greatest mop I have ever owned.

The paint/coating on the handle is amazing/

Since it is red in color, this mop has been easier for me to find in my house.

There are microfiber replacements, I guess.

But, I would just buy a new one, and then I would have two.

It is easy to remove the bottom part of the mop and chuck it into the Samsung washing machine.

Seriously: This is one heck of a mop. I love it. You will not experience buyers remorse...

For heavens sake just get a new mop from Lazada or Home Pro.

That's a common ringer mop you can get refills from Bunnings or any supermarkets but you would have to import them.

You might find refills on lazada that would fit, they are probably made in China. Lazada might sell a very similar ringa mop, a new Zealand iconic mop, been around for years, probably same in Aussie.

Many different brands of these nowadays and most refills fit just look at the way it's attached, yours has little plastic screw heads holding it to the plate, look for that version on lazada or buy a new one from them, cheers

Yes.

I agree.

Time for a new mop.

The mop image I uploaded shows the best mop, ever.

Note: All I can say is this...

What I would not have given for a great mop such as this when...

When I was younger, working as an OS on an old oil tanker out of the Persian Gulf.

Swabbing the decks is part of a seaman's life.

Even if one is working aboard ship, as a lark, still...

Swabbing the decks can become tiresome, fast.

But, if only I had had such a mop as the red-handled mop...then...

My life would have been even more of a lark.

I am unable to speak too highly of this mop which I imaged above.

I just hope that local importers will continue importing this brand and model.
