No wonder they tried to put a lid on the jobs report. They've also successfully killed Gallup presidential polls after almost 90 years. I wonder why? ❓

Do you have a point? 4.3 is well below the average.

Your comparisons are irrelevant. The economic context was quite different under Obama.

You're right. Obama inherited from George W. Bush the worst financial crisis facing the world since the Great Depression. Obviously the 2 situations aren't comparable. Also, the employment rate is still lower than it was at the start of Trump's 2nd term:

Clinton policies caused the GFC. Obama had 8 years. Failed to reduced UE below 5%. Epic failure. Trump got it below 4%.

More lame deflections from you! Trump worse than Biden in 2024. Epic failure!

Biden must be your hero.

  • Inflation roared back, shrinking the value of workers’ paychecks. Consumer prices rose 21.5%. Gasoline alone rose 31%. After adjusting for inflation, private-sector average weekly earnings shrank 4%.

4.3% does not hurt. 7.3% does ask Obama.

When voting in the mid terms later this year it will be Trump’s job numbers voters have in mind.

Along with the price of food and medical bills or insurance coverage. Not many happy people these days. Take your frustration out at the ballot box is going to happen for sure.

4.3 is low compared to averages.

Interesting report by NBC news on how hard middle class Americans are being hit by Trump economics. Very sad and telling.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/americans-sell-plasma-inflation-middle-class-expenses-economy-rcna258390

Middle-class Americans are selling their plasma to make ends meet

Last year, people in the U.S. made an estimated $4.7 billion selling their plasma. Donation centers are popping up in middle-class neighborhoods, including suburban strip malls and college towns.

Middle class Americans and now selling the silverware they inherited from their parents.

4% to 5% unemployment is considered low in the U.S. and generally indicates a strong labor market. This range is often seen as close to or at "full employment," where the economy is operating efficiently without triggering significant inflation. However, historically low unemployment rates below 4% can create economic challenges, such as wage inflation, reduced productivity, and a positive output gap—meaning the economy is overusing its resources.

  • Economists typically view 3% to 5% as the ideal unemployment range, with rates below 4% potentially leading to labor shortages and rising wages.

Pretty embarrassing you did not know 4 to 5% is considered close to full employment. Taught in year 10.

Full employment in the United States refers to a state where the economy is operating at its maximum sustainable employment level without triggering accelerating inflation. It does not mean zero unemployment, as some unemployment—such as frictional (job transitions) and structural (skills mismatches)—is considered natural and necessary for a dynamic labor market

What is embarrassing is you. 90% of the so called facts you post are googled so quickly there is never any fact checking done. You just have to get one more post up there. You are the kind of guy that would be so proud, literally over the moon to win a trophy like this.
