Hi everyone,

Over the past four or so years, a crazy has developed on the internet of people posting 'Reaction Videos'.

Reaction videos are where people film themselves (their faces usually) while watching a violent (possibly illegal) movie, maybe of a fight or murder being committed. The screen and/or movie isn't shown, only the reaction.

Such videos are made from a range of content which is shocking, but this poll is only about violence.

My position is this; I have noted hundreds of reaction videos on youtube.com and tried to complain that they promote violence by inciting others to seek out and watch the violent movie in question. Youtube have no provision for such complaints as the people in the videos aren't breaking youtube rules. It's a widespread practice on a range of sites.

I accept the irony that I may be charged with doing the very thing I'm complaining about other people doing. I would prefer this only to be a discussion, as I want to know other people's views.
