Venezuela has brushed off "absurd" charges by US evangelist Pat Robertson that President Hugo Chavez sent money to Osama bin Laden after the September 11 attacks.

Offering no evidence, the Christian conservative leader said Chavez was "negotiating with the Iranians to get nuclear material. And he also sent US$1.2 million to bin Laden right after 9/11".

Venezuela's Vice-President said Robertson was "insane at the very least".

You know, Boon Mee, I'm not rooting for the terrorists. I hope that they loose their appeal to the uneducated and propogandized peoples which they recruit....but...I must say that this post is probably a really good example of the types of things that makes the terrorists recruiting effort so effective. Consider that you are a young and idealistic Muslim who was raised that a Muslim womans body is sacred and must be covered at all times when in public....then think about them seeing westerners display the nud_e image of a supposedly Muslim woman on the internet so that all the world to see and then understanding that the westerners are laughing about it and using it to disparage their faith....it might make you a bit angry....maybe really angry....maybe angry enough to do something about it.....

What a crock Chow.That means everytime we see/hear of a suicide bomber or a beheading of an innocent "infidel"...we should all start stoning Muslims, or form Christian vigilanty groups etc.

Every time a Muslim kills an infidel it is helping to cause the problem and I can't see that it has any possibility of doing anything to anyone anywhere to solve the problem.

It is not a static situation. The terrorist recruits of next year are developing today. Items similar to your post are exactly what their teachers need to 'prove' why jihad is needed. Your post is a part of the problem and I can't see how in any way it could be part of the solution. You have the freedom to create such images and spread them instantly around the world....what can an idealistic Muslim fundamentalist child do to make you stop this outrage.....well.....there are people out there that are very happy to teach them exactly what they can do....you are fuelling the terrorist movement with your actions just like you are building a stage from which Jane Fonda can espouse her ideals, you might not know this but she is fully aware of the platform you have built for her and she is greatful for it....and I'm sure that the people creating young terrorists are very happy to have people like you creating these things 'cause it makes there job very easy.
