Why Muslims Reject British Values

Why Muslims Reject British Values

In Britain’s left-wing rag the Guardian, a “leading black intellectual and anti-racist campaigner” explains: Why Muslims reject British values.

According to A Sivanandan, the London bombings were caused either by oppression and poverty, or by the Iraq War, and Muslims are justified in rejecting Britain’s institutionally racist society.

And Islamic supremacism and terrorism are just byproducts of the proletarian struggle.

Once there were great movements, within countries and internationally, against poverty and exploitation and all kinds of injustice - against capitalism and imperialism. Today, there are no great working-class movements, no Third World revolutions. Hence, struggles against poverty, against dictatorships and against foreign occupation grow up around religion, ‘the sigh of the oppressed’, and take on the characteristics of millenarian movements. At the same time, they give rise to distortions such as fundamentalism.

Yet I am not without hope. I see Islamic fundamentalism as a passing phase, certainly in its intensity, because 7 July has also rebounded on the Muslim leadership and clergy in this country, demanding that they consider what is being done in the name of the Koran. And in the soul-searching that must follow, I see the first stirrings of the Islamic Reformation.

From that may follow a profound and desirable shift in the anti-imperialist struggles waged by the Muslim world: away from individual acts of terror, to mass, collective action that finds common cause with the anti-globalisation, anti-imperialist movement beyond it”

When does the head-sawing start in earnest in Britain? :o

Hmmmm, they are always saying they are Peaceful..

or is is Pieceful ??

"But the greatest threat to Western values arises from globalisation and market fundamentalism, changes that affect personal morality. For the market reduces even personal relationships to a cash nexus."

The author does not try to conceal that he objects to capitalism. But to blame eroding morals on "market fundamentalism" is just plain stupid.

This is apparently the work of a marxist who doubles as a terrorism apologist. No surprise there. The headchoppers are the heroes of the marxists. :o

This is just the latest in a long string of anti-west, anti-white, reverse racism rants by someone who is nothing more than a pure communist trying to stir up the sh*t.

While it is true that one house of Parliament is more or less single race, it is a false assumption to paint every member as racists because of that single fact. And to protest such a type of government is futile, because nothing short of complete overthrow of the country and military will ever change that.

Similar is the argument that all corporations are greedy and bad, trying to screw every worker in search of the almighty dollar. One simple case in point is the grand-daddy of all corporations: Microsoft.

All Microsoft has done in the last 30 years is:

- grow to an economy larger than the GNPs of most of the countries in the world

- directly create more than 10,000 millionaires

- indirectly create through spin-offs thousands and thousands of more millionaires

- generate charitable contributions in the amounts of billions of dollars

- directly and indirectly create literally millions of jobs in thousand of other related businesses

- indirectly support the whole counterfeit software industry and black market economies which run rampant through places like China, the ASEAN countries, eastern Europe, etc.; money which invariably gets put back into the local economy

If that's what happens with capitalism, then I wish we had a hundred more just like them.

If this guy keeps it up, all he is going to get is the Bakri treatment, which is exactly what he deserves.

The people in the UK, and I mean the majority of all races in the UK, are sick and tired of people like this clown. He represents a very small minority of people who would find some other excuse to cause trouble, if not for this one. He is a gnat on the a*shole of life.

"Yet these young men were prepared to take their lives and the lives of their fellow citizens in the name of Islam. One reason, therefore, must be as Mohammad Sidique Khan stated it: the invasion and destruction of Iraq."

These people so hate western society that Saddam was preferable to the freedom offered by kaffirs.

Say...anyone notice the deafening silence on this one from one Tommy Merton? :o

One reason, therefore, must be as Mohammad Sidique Khan stated it: the invasion and destruction of Iraq."

So now it's the invasion of Iraq that is the cause of all the problems ?

Funny, I thought the problems originated with the Crusades 700+ years ago ? (Actually, the problems between the Shi-ites and the Sunnis started long before that, but that is an "internal" Islamic problem).

Then it was the creation of a Jewish nation in the middle of an Arab dominated area.

Then it was the poor Palestinian refugees (who fled Israel so they wouldn't get accidentally slaughtered along with the Jews, when the Arab armies invaded).

The next excuse (er, sorry, the next reason) was that there were infidel Americans stationed in the holy land (Saudi Arabia).

Then it was the Gulf War (1).

Now it's the Gulf War (2) that is the cause of all the Muslim unrest around the world.

What's the excuse when it's the Sunnis attacking the Shi-ites in Iraq (and visa-versa) ?

What's the excuse when Muslims assassinate other Muslims (i.e. when the Taliban assassinated the leader of the Northern Alliance (Massoud), 2 days before the jets hit the WTC ?)

What's the excuse when (Muslims) slit the throat of a 76 year old monk, in a temple ? Surely it's not because of the Iraq invasion or the plight of the poor Palestinians ?

The bombings in Bali ? The violence in Western China, the Kashmir, the Sudan ?

Why is it when hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, some (Muslims) were calling it "Allah's Hurricane", yet none of them are calling the earthquake in Pakistan "Allah's Earthquake" ?

They didn't call the tsunami that killed almost 200,000 people, mostly Muslim, "Allah's Tsunami" either. Apparently, it is only the will of Allah if infidels are the majority of the victims.

Just to be fair, it was (is) the same with with a lot of Christians as well. If it is favourable (surviving the hurricane for example), it is God's will.

If it's not favourable (i.e. the hurricane itself), they tend to ignore the fact that it was His doing as well !

"the sigh of the oppressed"

1.Well, if we are going to talk about oppression, shall we begin with the ubiquitous institutionalized oppression and humiliation of women in Muslim society? Detractors claim that the Quran does not foster this attitude, but witness the devaluation of women; the sexual fear of women; the incarceration of women; the infantilization of women; the social marginalization of women, etc. etc.

2. The overt and institutionalized anti-Semitism in Islam, that is frankly paranoid and of psychotic proportions.

3. The assumption of the victim role while actively victimizing other religious groups.

4. The hypocritical call for tolerance, while promoting intolerance and bigotry among its own adherents.

5. The glorification of death rather than life.

6. The fostering of mindless obedience and punishment of independent thinking.

7. The poverty of ideas and rational thought among its leaders.

8. The inability to condemn unequivocally the barbaric acts done in the name of Islam.

9. The fact that you would force your religion on me, if you could.

The list is not exhaustive.

And, if you want to understand why Marxists, communists, socialists, and your sundry other totalitarian-loving groups support and enable Islamic terrorism, read the explanation in the Guardian article as to why we should blame ourselves for their barbaric and religiously-motivated behavior. :o
