I for one vote TM is an asset to the forum, despite his often pompous ways,  and despite his posturing, and despite his sarcastic wit (which many people dont seem to get? ) he seems like 'one of the good guys'.

It gives me great comfort to see that the main striker in the attack against TM is a graduate in business studies, law and psychology as well as being in denial of his racism and bully-boy tactics.

Nevertheless he does appear to be more than capable of displaying the erudition and style commensurate with such qualifications in his reposts.

The day people get banned for bursting bubbles is the day I leave never to return, this is a forum and everyone is entitled to post within the rules. I recieved a call from Thomas the other day when I was on a National Express coach en route to York.

To taxexile, forgive me but I don’t know much about religion, but I think that most people who have devout beliefs in there own religion wouldn’t want to see it being amalgamated with several other religions as depicted in Mertons avatar.

I have looked for that particular email I posted about illegal immigrants in the joke section but I must have deleted it. For those that didn’t see it the general gist of it was, a new game show called the illegal immigrant game show, with prizes of free cars, free houses free health care etc, now if I remember rightly these comments were also backed up with some statistics, and it was written in such a way that it was taking the piss out of the govt and not asylum seekers, and it wasn’t something I wrote, it was passed onto me by a Bangladeshi friend of mine.

So tell me Merton, do you never make fun of the Aussies, or the French or maybe the Scottish or the Welsh? If you do, does that make you any less of a racist?

This forum is a unique place populated by 20,000+ individuals from around the globe. It has become special to me because of the diversity of character that is displayed here. As a normally closed person, I have avidly studied the offerings, helpfullness, friendliness and humour of the membership. All in our own way offer something.
