There's a lot of Yuletide windbaggery going on - folk expressing bonhomie. That don't fill the belly.

The topic with our party photos has been moderated away ! Too much Scampy for Christmas Day I expect. Never mind.

Perhaps I can post them on Bedlam, if its ok.

PS Would they be the same drippings Obladi Oblida used in his Christmas gravy? :o

Actually I was thinking of sending a doggy bag with some leftovers down to Pattaya for Scampy but unfortuantely I got a bit peckish and have just finished it all off. The cold turkey went very well with Mrs J. E. Colville's (15 Elm Grove Close, Dawlish, Devon) Apple Chutney which the Moog dutifully presented to me recently.

can i join ? i will bring some few jars of "Pla Rah" ..(yep..u guys can eat it as anchovy) :o:D

There are 2 things that smell of fish.

And ones a fish. :D

Hopefully, the owner of this:

will have received some of this under their Christmas tree to get rid of it:

Aloe Vesta antifungal ointment

If you have ever had athletes foot, jock itch, ringworm or superficial yeast infections, you know the scaling, cracking, redness, and skin irritation can be just awful. These conditions are caused by fungus infections. Aloe Vesta 2-1 ointment is the best way to cure these infections... contains 2% miconazole nitrate, a very effective anti-fungal compound. Aloe Vesta contains no alcohol, so won't sting skin. Made by Convatech, a division of E.R. Squibb& Sons, LLC. The size shown here is the long-lasting 2 ounce size.

============================

Merry Christmas all... :D

In the spirit of the Giving Season, perhaps the multi-purpose ointment could be shared around to those in need of his it's various curative powers.

:D

Chonabot, ,I really really like your new kung <deleted> avatar.... I'm going to visit the best avatar thread again.

Moog, who's the poet these days... Almost every post of yours is poetry mate.

Anyway, put me down for one single "Only two calories" tic tac.

Raspberry flavour (obtainable in Italy)

I'll throw in an airplane size bottle of champers for scampers for New Year 2006, oh and my best friend who's never been to LOS!!

Away in a container, no crib for a bed,

The little Lord Scampy laid down His sweet head.

The stars in the sky looked down where He lay,

The little Lord Scampy, asleep on the hay.

The roaches are running, Scampy awakes,

But little Lord Scampy, no crying He makes;

I love Thee, Lord Scampy, look down from the sky

And stay by my cradle til morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Scampy, I ask thee to stay

Close by me forever, and love me, I pray;

Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care,

And fit us for Heaven to live with Thee there.

You're sounding very William Blake "Songs of Innocence and Experience" these days; nice work! Too bad you can't show some of the same compassion, though.

I think, and hope, that the piss take is all in jest. As far as i'm aware, The Moog, Blake7 et al are all on friendly terms with Scampy. I would like to join in wishing The Gentleman Scamp all the best, he seems like a genuine guy who is trying to find his place in life. As most of us know, the road to contentment is rarely straightforward, but if he has the courage to keep trying i'm sure eventually he will arrive at a destination he is happy with.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone else on this forum good fortune in the future. Merry christmas.

You sound like a very decent guy :o

I really hope Scampy is feeling better. Life is full of ups and downs, and anyone who hasn't lived through them, doesn't know a thing.

It's amazing what a bottle of whiskey will do :D

But joking aside, i would like to reiterate my sentiments (just incase i have conveyed the impression that i was being insincere).

My 20 satangs worth , IMO the Moog has always conveyed a huge sense of self importance and these series of postings show no altering of that cosmic path.

But , I have never met the Man , nor Butterfly ( although I enjoy his postings)

and the other chap ( never heard of him ( Servelon7 ? )).

I have had one phone conversation with GS , and he seemed nice enough.

The point to which I am rallying towards ( * shudder* ) is that these pr1cks actually have met , and know eachother.

So in other words, it has fukc all to do with me .

Bothered ?

:o

Boyz will be boys... but you guys suck.....  :o  :D

:D Good one! :D

I really hope Scampy is feeling better.  Life is full of ups and downs, and anyone who hasn't lived through them, doesn't know a thing.

Life IS full of ups and downs and I have the highest admiration for those who have the strength of character to deal with them. I have rather less admiration for those whose ups and downs are self-inflicted :o

I'm not sure anyone is talking about admiration, but rather understanding. Most of us have difficult decisions to make in life in pursuit of happiness. Sometimes we get it right, sometimes wrong. Sometimes we get lucky, sometimes not. Sometimes it can be a hard enough job figuring out just what it is we really need, as opposed to what we think we want. Show me a person who claims to have never self-inflicted any of their woes and i'll show you a liar.

Personally those i do have some sense of admiration for, are those who don't just settle for a life of discontent out of fear of breaking the mould in whatever backwater they came from, and strike out for better or worse to find more meaning to their life. Or even just a more exhilarating way of living. At the very least it shows a bit of character.

Same to you TP, Happy New Thing, too.

This <deleted> tastes like Thai rum......  This Thai rum IS <deleted>... glass number 4..... hic..... burp......bloody ice is melting fast in The Shed. 38C+ phew.

Well done Udon - not calling that crap - Sang Som, Sang Thip, Maekong - whisky.

You don't mix whisky with coke under any circumstances.

Scampy mate, I had lots of similar experiences to you in my early days in Thailand when I was a piss-heid.

Since I stopped years ago things improved miraculously.

Happy New year. :o

There are lots of folks who do just as you say without feeling the need to stand there shouting "LOOK AT ME!!!" while they're doing it. They live their lives for their own benefit - not to (hopefully) impress a crowd of admirers.

There are also lots of folks who don't feel the need to point out others personal failings (as they see it) unprovoked by making snide remarks against their character, either on internet forums or in person. But it's my guess that none of us are perfect, wouldn't you agree?

FE.

If you owned a very successful forum, how would you deal with a sociopath who uses foul language in their posts and was given 9 lives and screwed up every time?

Why do you think this forum has advertisers and the other similar forums have naff all?

Last nite, at 00:00 BKK time there were 450 online... and the others had none...Why?

I'm sorry, but i don't think that this has much relevance to the thread.

If you want to know my opinion on this moderation issue, pm me.

No offense, but i know as well as you do what will happen the second i do so on this thread.
