Isn't cocaine supposed to sober you up and allow a safer driving back home after a heavy night out ? giggle.gif

No. It's Providence telling you that you have too much money, especially if you are Ferrari driver with a coke habit.

Summoned?

Presumably he took a sample, made a report?

Summoned to explain why he made a test for which they didnt ask, and the even worse, reported it. Whats to explain.

The test came back positive for opiates. Simple.

Cocaine isn't an opiate!

That would be something if he made an test without them wanting it and then put it in the news. This would mean letting the guy off after he had paid loads of money would be harder. It would put a dent in their plan.

If that was the plan of the police otherwise they would be happy with even more evidence against the guy.

The word summoned is more commonly used when someone has done something wrong. As though the doctor did something wrong.

He tested a criminal. A guy at my factory got two years for a positive test. Lets see them try to cover this up because under the eradication program, he cant get out of this one.

Didn't he run into Chalerm's house? The guy will have to be executed.

chalerm will probably send him to cambodia like he sent his own son when he shot someone in the face at a night club.

It's only people who occasionally visit Thailand, but pretend to know everything about the country, that have no idea which Chalerm is been talked about in this thread.

Party boy - denial - deceitful - drugs - drinking, then to top it off, using a vehicle at high speed is nothing short of a weapon in such a blatant case of selfish disregard for anyone or anything. This guy needs to spend the rest of his life in a cage. If Thai justice ignores this or let's this guy off with a year or two, there is no hope for this country. Let's see what the justices decide.

Spoild piece of sh't, bet he never worked in his life.bah.gif

He said that though traces of a narcotic were found in the suspect's blood, it does not necessarily mean he had taken drugs because some medicines can affect test results.

Utterly breathtaking comment by the police!

Why is it breathtaking, if it was you, and the test was in doubt, would you object, what if you had some medication that tested positive for an illegal substance, would you then object when it was questioned ?

All avenues have to be taken beyond reasonable doubt, no matter what a bunch of tired old jealous expats think.

If this guy wasn't rich nobody would give a toss, because he is rich, and even worse, he's Thai, the old men of ThaiVisa are baying for blood.

Well first off, it is not me. What medicine exactly will test him positive for cocaine? Furthermore, I am NOT a tired old jealous expat. At the end of the day the police should be saying nothing about the case, in particular to the media. They should be doing 'police stuff', like press the investigation, gather evidence objectively and present that evidence to the public prosecutor. When the media try and find things out, the police should be saying, 'sorry sir, investigations are under way and we cannot comment further at this time'. All the technical errors by the police will make sure that this guy walks free.

Cocaine use can be determined quite simply using hair samples. They wouldn't even need to mess up his hair do, armpits or pubes will do....

Hair drug testing

Hair drug testing is a method that can detect drug use over a much longer period of time,[19] and is often used for highly safety-critical positions where there is zero tolerance of illegal drug use.[20] Standard hair follicle screen covers a period of 30 to 90 days. The growth of hair is usually at the rate of 0.5 inches per month. The hair sample is cut close to the scalp and 80 to 120 strands of hair are needed for the test. In the absence of hair on the head, body hair can be used as an acceptable substitute.[19] Even if the person being tested has a shaved head, hair can also be taken from almost any other area of the body. This includes facial hair, the underarms, arms, and legs or even pubic hair. Currently, most entities that use hair testing have prescribed consequences for individuals removing hair to avoid a hair drug test.

The claim that a hair test cannot be tampered with has been shown to be debatable. One study has shown that THC does not readily deposit inside epithelial cells so it is possible for cosmetic and other forms of adulteration to reduce the amount of testable cannabinoids within a hair sample.[11]

A hair sample cannot pinpoint the time of use and why it is not used anywhere when somebody is charged with driving under the influence ... not to mention you would have to wait until the hair grew enough to even check for the period in question.

The doctor who conducted blood tests suggesting that Red Bull heir Vorayuth Yoovidhya might have used cocaine will be summoned for questioning Tuesday.

MIGHT??? giggle.gif - - - cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Vorayuth is believed to be behind the September 3 hit-and-run .....

But maybe it still was the driver, gardener, cook or nanni? crazy.gif

I'll have to try that one, next time I get stopped at the Full Moon Party burp.gif

Led Bunn, Coooke and Fellali? Definately gives you wings. Hit and fly....

No need to apologize, you aren't the only one who failed to comprehend the connection but that's understandable, even after a lifetime here in L.O.S..

Why?

Chalerm Yoovidhaya has a son who killed a policeman with his high powered Ferrari while driving home from a nightclub and fled the scene. He is a billionaire. His son Vorayuth will do no jail time. His father will be complicit in his evasion of justice.

Chalerm Yoobamrung has a son who killed a policeman at a nightclub with a handgun and fled the scene. He is a billionaire. His son Duang has never done a day in jail. His father was complicit in his evasion of justice.

Are we clear now?

No, it's because he is rich and very, very well connected and there is already evidence of corrupt practice that is the concern. Any other Somchai would be facing years in the slammer already.
