Trang road commuters face five strict enforcements

TRANG, 19 August 2014(NNT)- Trang Provincial Police are implementing five strict law enforcement actions on commuters who violate traffic laws.

Pol.Gen. Charin Kopatta, the deputy commander of Trang provincial police has deployed police officers in a campaign to tackle traffic offenders.

The five main traffic offenders are drivers who dangerously cut across lanes and adjacent traffic at the foot of flyovers, drivers who fail to bring their vehicles to a complete stop at the prescribed distance from traffic lights, drivers who block traffic flow by parking in non-parking areas.

Police will immobilize the vehicle by using a Denver boot or a wheel clamp or by removing the vehicle from its illegal parking spot. The action is effective immediately to ensure road safety and to improve Thailand's image of undisciplined traffic flow, before integration into the AEC.
