Podiatrist or foot doctor

Does anyone know if Queen Sirikit hospital in Sattahip has a podiatrist department or can recommend another government hospital in the area that has.

I want to take a Thai boy there who need foot supports.

I'm aware that BHP probably has such a specialist, but I have no intention to sell my car to be able to support the Thai boy.

Dr. Pornchai from BHP also has hours at Banglamung. I have seen him for foot problems. If you are expecting special prosthetics, shoes, etc. like they have in western hospitals, forget it. Podiatrist is a word that is not used in hospitals here, just say have problem with foot. My experience at Queen Sirikit was not good but others seem to have better luck or maybe are less demanding.

Then how they solve a foot problem ? I would think the only way is with some kind of prosthetic.

The main problem is the diagnostic,

many problems remain hidden, if the diagnostic is based only on x-ray pictures.

My foot problem was clear, after they made a CT and mrt, and found out, that a have a heel bone fracture, that was not shown on the x-ray pictures.

The problem is not an accident or bone fracture, but the fact that his foot isn't straight ( level). I don't know if this is the correct description, because I'm not native English speaking, but I had a similar issue during my childhood and it was corrected by custom made insoles.

Another problem is that he "swings" one foot when walking.

I'm sure all this can be corrected as long as his feet and legs are not full grown.
