Re-entry for Cambodian nationals in Aran

Recommended Posts

My wife's daughters studying in Thailand on 1 year extensions go back to Cambodia for holidays. Usually they make the re-entries at Chaengwatana.

For any reason, they'd prefer to avoid to go here.

My questions are:

Is it possible to make the re-entries in Aran?

If yes, where?

How long does it take?

I called already the immigration there on 037 23 11 31 and got some info, are these kind people reliable?

Misread the OP at first.

I understand there is a re-entry permit desk at the Aran crossing but not sure about the opening hours or where it is located.

Aran Immigration office promised me that they do Re-Entry from 06:30 with possible queue. Person at phone looking nice. But I'd prefer to have an account from someone who had experience himself.

FYI I fully confirm that it's possible to make the RE-ENTRY at Aran immigration police.

There are 7 counters when you cross the border. One of the them is for RE-ENTRY.

Price is 1000 THB like everywhere. The officer did ask 100 THB as an additional fee to my daughter but then she asked "Why?" -she looks Thai - Bangkokian-, the officer abandoned his "demand".

After you got the RE-ENTRY, you just have to go to the next counter to proceed and go out Thailand.
