kiwiaussie
Might be finding myself in Miri in Northern Sawawak in a few weeks. Rather than fly back to KL then onto BKK a good option might be to fly out of brunei. However there doesn't appear to be too much in the way of info on the net of how to get from miri to brunei. Are there intercity tax serivices one can hire? Thanks in advance.
craigt3365
I can't remember how I got from Bandar Seri Begawan to Miri, but do remember it was very easy. From KK was a bit more difficult. I found this: http://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/ShowTopic-g293937-i9175-k3804268-Bandar_Seri_Begawan_BSB_Miri_Express_Bus-Brunei_Darussalam.html http://wikitravel.org/en/Bandar_Seri_Begawan Good luck! bendejo
I did Miri to Brunei by bus. I would expect you can get a cab to take you, but be sure to bargain. Miri is one of those places where the taxi drivers will tell you anything to get you into their cabs, even obvious lies. As you go around town you'll have taxis following you shouting "taxi!" if you look like a foreigner. And as in the rest of Malaysia people will come up to you asking if you want a taxi -- if you say yes they will then flag down a passing cab and halt it, and the driver will slip them a few ringitt.
