BANGKOK: -- Police investigation into the bombing incidents at the Erawan Shrine and Sathon pier was about 90 percent completed and the case was expected to be proceeded with the public prosecution soon, said the national police chief, Pol Gen Chakthip Chaichinda, on Wednesday.

However, he said he would discuss with Pol Lt-Gen Srivara Rangseepromkul on certain issues about the case such as whether the bombings should be regarded as an act of terrorism before the finalization of the case.

Regarding the Thai suspect, Aod Payoongwong, Pol Gen Chakthip admitted he personally knew several chief guards of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship but thought it was not necessary now to question them about Aod.

He indicated that warrants would be sought with the court for the arrest of a few more suspects.

Two arrested suspects, Adem Karadag and Mirali Yusufu, were escorted by police and corrections officials to the military court today for the court’s approval to have them further detained by another 12 days. The second detention during September 26-October 7 has just ended.

The court agreed to extend their detention for another 12 days until October 19 as requested by the police.

Because he knows Aod had nothing to do with the Erawan bombing, and had been made a suspect, so that Somyot could leave office claiming he solved 3 bombing cases. Within a few weeks, the hunt for Aod will be abandoned, and no one will ever hear about him again.

I don't suppose the 3 million reward money was handed back, if it's not a slam dunk yet..cheesy.gifcheesy.gif

I have heard on good authority that the award money is actually only 66% paid.

Next time the case is closed a further 33% will be given to the cops that missed out last time.

From thereon its just a matter of arguing over who gets the last 1%

Of course this being Thailand, where farang is to stupid and cant understand complicated Thai mathematics, is possible that the total sum of what we know as 100%, might actually be equal to or greater than 200 or 300%

:0)

In other words,

"We've got nothing more; just a bunch of dead ends. We are just saying 90% as if we have something left to do. We are filling out paperwork. We'll railroad the two suspects soon through a secret military trial. We hope the guilty verdicts will help everyone forget about the unanswered questions."

Everyday a new statement. Why are they even allowed to speak in public and disgrace themselves and their organization.

Everyday claiming case solved and still issuing warrants and and the look out for manhunt.

Is it possible for someone on this thread to show us one of these arrest warrants? What is done on these warrants when the form asks for, well, you know, the name of the person to be arrested by warrant. Does anyone know if any other country on the planet issues blank arrest warrants.

Thanks.

Funny this man. who is himself 90 % brain dead, can still talk to the press.

Chakthip Chaichinda I have a little teaser for you.

Take a number in your head between 1 and 10. Now multiply this by 2.

Add the number 8 to this and then divide by 2.

Now subtract your secret number............ yes you have it??? You are left with the number 4

Good night.

Of course not.!

Actually, they will demand a further 300,000 baht for the last 10% when it's done and dusted. Wish I knew where 'slalm dunk' came from thumbsup.gif

And just last week it was anounced by the RTP that it's case closed!

The monetary prizes have been handed out the party is officially over. Well hold on the trial is yet to come. Could be a few surprises there. Definitely the old "we were tortured" card will be played by the defense.

Yes and they have not got to the 10% part about the highly organized international terrorist cell operating freely and undetected in Thailand that blew the sh*t out of Bangkok because of the Thai governments foreign policy decisions.

That is the icky part.

But give them time, they need to spend the reward money and then back to work.
