Border Bounce Latest from Koh Samui please ....

Good Afternoon all

 

Myself and a few friends are driving down to do a Border bounce in Malaysia towards the end of the week.

 

Im thinking Koh Samui > Hat Yai > Padang Basar

 

Is there anything I need to know regarding this location for a border bounce at the moment or is it as easy as OUT-IN-OUT-IN ?

Went through that crossing a week ago but only southbound, kept going to Penang. Didn't appear to much traffic at that time (Sunday afternoon). Some friends had problems at Dan Nok crossing, asked to show B20,000 in cash, ATM balance slip not good enough.

 

The crossing near Satun is closer. Turn off 41/4 onto 406 at Rattaphum. Turnoff to border is marked with a huge blue sign. It's well up in the hills and usually very quiet.
