Huge Buddha statue caves in in Chon Buri

CHON BURI: -- A huge Buddha statue in Chon Buri which is due to be fully completed at the end of this year collapsed Monday night following heavy rains throughout the night.

 

The 24-metre high Buddha statue, named Phra Buddha Santi Apimahamongkolchai, is located at Santisook monastery in Tambon Napa, Muang district of Chon Buri,

Jesus might get angry and throw the money changers out of the temple.

 

But Buddha?

 

Why would any of this have concerned him? 

 

And how could it now?  He died 2559 years ago.
