D'Luck Kaan Show anyone went?

Ticket price is 2500 for basic seats. Business must be slow as I see they are now offering 40% discount (1500) for weekdays and 30% discount (1750) for weekends.

Even with the discount of 40%, that's near $100 for me and wife to watch. I can't justify that kind of money for a show that doesn't look all that spectacular really.

The 2500 baht full price is about the same price for basic seats at a major production in Macau (House of Dancing Water). I doubt it's even close to one of them.

Maybe some big spenders on here will give us a review. It has been open for over a month and we haven't heard a peep out of anyone.

Since the 90's my gold standard for tourist type shows has been the Phuket Fantasy show. Seen many many times and enjoyed the spectacle every time. However, there is a new kid on the block, the Kaan show here in Pattaya. Spectacular is an understatement, and yes not cheap. But would I pay to see it again? Most certainly, highly recommended. Go see it! Simply amazing!

Hint: if you go see the show make sure you read the small pamphlet you receive with your ticket BEFORE the show starts for maximum enjoyment.

When you buy tickets directly from the D'Luck website they only show one price.

was there yesterday - max 20% occupancy, after 10min show needed 10min break for technical repair. The wife liked it, for me too much fantasy - would not recommend to Farangs

but Asians in general seem to like that kind of overloaded shows

Dual pricing even if the cheapest ticket for Thais are 1500 baht ? Wow , I'll give them 1 year at maximum, maybe they can reconstruct it into a condo.

Do people really go and see this sort of tripe ? Just an oversized magic lantern show for the feeble minded and easily amazed. No wonder their main audience will be mainland Chinese and local bumpkins.

Wrong.

Different prices in Thai:

http://kaanshow.com/th/ticket/type/

And only 1 price in English:

http://kaanshow.com/en/ticket/type/

So it is a cinema + real show ? Why it doesn't look interesting ? Need to be Thai to enjoy it (and pay only 500 thb in a group tour...)

Even Trip doesn't help so much:

https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g293919-d12515878-Reviews-SINGHA_D_LUCK_Cinematic_Theatre-Pattaya_Chonburi_Province.html

Any feedback welcome !

Thanks.

Their huge access roads are a nice shortcut from Thepprasit to/from T. Soi 8

A friend told me it's there for two years or so?

Well i am no local bumpkin and my Thai wife's family are what you would call middle class ,we went to see the show yesterday ,cost 1500 baht each ,i am British but with a Thai drivers licence so pay Thai price , the show was fantastic ,i loved it ,the whole experience was as good as any of the Las Vegas shows . would we go again ,? in a heartbeat ,in fact we will be going in a few weeks to take our son and his wife .

as for feeble minded ,well if the cap fits .

Sorry taking so long ,but thats what us "local bumpkins" are like ,

Its a live show , but no one actually speaks in it ,which to be honest makes no odds , I will be honest ,i was blown away by it , the arena was only about a third full ,but everyone was clapping like mad , it was a superb show ,cost 1500 baht to get in and was worth every penny ,

What is the price for a non-Thai?

Was it really as good as a Vegas show like La Reve or one of the longstanding Cirque du Soleil shows like Ka?
