Setup of movement sensors

Looking at adding these movement sensors to my existing outside lights, does anyone know how easy or hard they are to connect?

Easy, just follow the instructions

 

Make sure the sensors you buy are the correct voltage and can handle the current of your outside lighting.

Yes, plus the Watts or Amps quoted.

So l could put in up to 300W LED Globe if that's what the light takes?

 

Rated load : 1200W (Resistive load like incandescent lamp)
300W (inductive load such as LED, energy saving lamp )

Or divide that by 3 if you have 3 lights connected?

Yup, but a 300W LED would be like a lighthouse, watch out for aircraft attempting to land

Very good,was just using it as an example, most likely 20 w or there abouts

You could put in 3 x 100 W, I'm just about to do exactly that

What did they set you back?

 About 1,250 Baht plus the holder, but as I didn't buy that myself I'm not sure how much it was. 

 

So so they are probably about the same cost per W as the LED strip lights

Certainly look bright, i'm using mine to light up any unwelcome guests around the outside of the house

3 of them will give good lighting in my 8 meter by 12 meter workshop, but I'm going to add 3 x 50 W to give excellent lighting. I think the 50 W ones are about 800 Baht
