Source: 500 upcountry Yingluck supporters now in Bangkok

By The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A former red-shirt leader in Bangkok claims that at least 500 supporters of Yingluck Shinawatra have arrived in the capital in small groups, ready to rally in solidarity with her when the verdict is announced on Friday in her malfeasance case.

The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the groups came by chartered van.

They do not seek to “pressure” the Supreme Court – only give moral support to the former prime minister, the source said.

A military intelligence officer in Chiang Rai, also asking to not be identified, noted there had been little related activity there, but various groups were being closely monitored.

Hardly news at all.  Probably just want to get a look at her.  She is beautiful, graceful and and strong.

Wow, 500. I guess they are planning a coup with those enormous numbers.

500 "supporters" = 500 co-ordinators/group leaders.

You can make up your own number regarding how many individuals each one will be leading.

I also remember when a red shirt thug claimed a 'million man march' on the capital (2010?) :cheesy:

You would also remember then of the 58 murdered by the military, 38  Red shirt supporters were shot in the back

And maybe you remember the burnings and murders before and after that done by the redshirts and ordered by redshirt leaders?

Besides, there is reasonable doubt if all the deaths can be blamed on the military.

There is also the deaths during the "Suthep" demonstrations.

Anther case of "whodunnit"?

Unfortunately you should catch up on your facts, something most TV Junta sympathisers appear incapable of doing

Would that be the facts as re-written by the Shin propaganda team?

The Shin Convenient History of Thailand - could be a best seller in the fiction category.
