Sorry to inform the stubborn man Prayut but even when she is located I can tell you now with the utmost confidence that whichever country she has fled too, will not extradite a democratically elected Prime Minister who was overthrown by a military coup.

I thought that he went on an Army Cadet weekend - not a military school. Lots of schools offer Army Cadets at Matayom 4, 5 and 6. It's quite popular not least because if you complete the syllabus you are subsequently exempted the draft. They are the lads (and lasses) you will see around in the green denims and brown berets.

If we consider whether she abandoned her son, perhaps we should also consider whether she jumped or was pushed?

She may not have been offered a choice in leaving.

His presence in Thailand may have some bearing on the almost total silence from Dubai and all points west....

I think that her doing a runner was planned for a long time, put on hold for a while, and not a spur of the moment job.

This is why I am wondering about her son (and a little less about her husband).

Surely she would have insisted that her son and husband be included in the "Great Escape".

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is confident that authorities will be able to track down former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra but this will take time.

How much time will it take?

Until the statute of limitation for the crimes of which Yingluck will be found guilty will have expired.

She'd just hire a Thai private chef.

She is hardly worried about being brought back. About as worried as her big brother who still tried, twice, to take over the country via violence.

Plus they will always whine it is political persecution, never mind the BILLIONS lost to the nation during their premierships.

I missed your nonsense post when it first came out.  It takes serious logical convolutions to equate elections with taking over a country by violence.  In case you haven't been paying attention, it's the military that routinely uses guns to take over the country.

More was lost on airport takeovers, border conflicts with Cambodia, foreign investors being scared off after coups etc. than was ever lost on any economic policy put forward by the elected administrations.

If they were so bad why did the junta immediately appoint Thaksin's finance minister to steer economic policy after the coup?  And why is he still making policy decisions?

Easy because those army knockers would not have a clue about anything.

Did you notice that Yingluck's finance minister was NOT appointed though.

Perhaps Thaksin's man knows what he is doing which is probably why he was appointed.

Hmmm! Red Bull "Boss", Monk Dhammachayo, Thaksin himself all missing, but we were assured they would all be found and brought home soon. The success rate in bringing back fugitives isn't too clever. Does anyone seriously think they are going to have better luck with Yingluck?

Especially given they have admitted they have no idea how she got away, or where she went!

Also today Cambodia announcing that Thailand haven't asked for them to assist in finding her, more BS straight from the top.
