Just visiting bkk and the little cafe in los soi8 has gone, well it was gone last time also. I liked it becuae it was air conditioned, served beer and coffee and could quite happely sit and read book after meal. Its too hot to walk around trying to find one so wonder if members could help me, any suggestions for replacment?

Honestly, I know what you mean, there is almost a cetain "im not here to meet you attitude. The same is true in Singapore but there it seems to be "Im an expat dont look at me just becuase you are one also" I dunno

What ever happened to Craigs list? It was great for meeting new friends when in BKK!

I think it makes it cheap & easy for airport staff to get to work & not a lot else.
