In the town where I live the most Thais and foreigners are very aware and take distance, follow the rules, closing their shops, don't sit together, wearing masks and keep them self inside as much as possible. But I think it depends where you are right now and how many people are living in a town/city.
Good to hear, you obviously don't live in Chiang Rai (Add Carabao) or Bangkok (Thai boxing Stadium) or ...or... or.... The point I'm making is that given strict instructions to stay indoors Thais will choose the Sabai Sabai over pretty much anything. Wearing of safety helmets another fine example. Glad to know your area is following the rules

Don’t worry about the car. It’s not something a scouser can afford.

This pretty much sums up the Thai public's inability to follow rules and why Thailand is in for a really hard time. China - people follow instructions. UK - people follow the law. Thailand - people follow the free/cheap beer and good times. Usually it's who you know in Thailand and the laws don't matter, Corona knows no older brother who works for such and such.

The body of the deceased might not be contagious but those that attend the funeral may well be - how stupid can people be??

Yeah, right.. The below photo was taken at my local Tesco Lotus 2 hours ago.. The toilet paper selves have been all stocked with adult diapers (the whole aisle).. Either they don't want to show empty shelves to the customers or they are trying to pass us a message, e.g. you may need these since you won't be having any toilet paper..
I think the message is don't <deleted> yourself... but if you do we have you covid

Someone is making serious cash from these "studies". Didn't Chiang Mai have a tram study last year?

Thankfully, I have never lost either a leg or a violin. That said, if given the choice, I would opt for losing the violin.
If I were in a bad mood, I would add that this man makes a pretty stupid comparison between losing something and becoming permanently disabled.

The garden will be used by all for many different purposes. Some will choose to visit to remember. Some will visit to play. Some will visit to just sit and relax. What a wonderful contribution the man and those that continue his legacy make. Coincidently green spaces and hospitals both contribute to health and welfare.
May I recommend Guy Standing Plunder of the Commons: A Manifesto for sharing Public Wealth (2019) for anyone interested in how shared space can contribute to health and community

In other news.... similar revelations.
1) Water is wet
2) Knives can cut
3) The sun is hot
The air pollution in Thailand is part of a cyclical routine of an inability to solve problems. Take the carnage during Songkran, the <deleted> poor performance of students at English when compared to every other country in the world and the rampant nepotism as other examples of known problems which will never be solved.
