  1. Hi, might have to drive up to Chiang Rai city, was wondering if anyone has done this drive in the last week since the partial lock-down started. Not sure what to expect crossing province boundaries. Have read about a tracking app i might need to download and forms to fill out on the way. Has anyone any knowledge of what the roads are like, thanks in advance.

  2. Hi all, had a bit of an accident and cracked the rear tail light. From searching the whole thing has to be replaced, not just the lens. Was wondering if anyone has a price of what this would cost??? Saw ones on sale on lazada for under 800 baht, but was wondering what it is from a shop. The car is Toyota revo .

    Thanks for any help

  3. Hi, thanks all for the replies. It is a dual band router, so some can get on the 5GHz but some cannot. Will maybe change the SSID name to see if helps. The phone is only a few years old , and a search on the internet said it does have 5GHz capabilities. Just would like to get the top speed as like to stream stuff on my phone.

    Thanks

  4. Hi, got the 3bb fiber installed but some device in the house cannot see the 5GHz frequency. Have read online about changing the channel (which i tried but unsuccessfully, wasn't sure if need to restart router every time changed channel), other are saying to change the location.

Has anybody here faced the same problem and did they get it fixed?? Don't want to be messing around with the settings too juch.

    Thanks

  5. Cheers cmbob for that, there does seem to be a thing from thapae to pantip but says it starts at 7pm. Hopefully the roads won't be closed but at 4pm.

I'm going to try to post an url to the posted schedule:   Loy Krathong Schedule

As to the route of the big parade, it's the same....from east on Thaphae Road from Thaphae Gate and then to the city municipal office on the river.

Edit:  The schedule (English version) is the one on the right.

Had a look around the Night Bazzar tonight and theres not much there in the way of football shirts , just the one shop down the alley leading to anusan market , they had Chelsea and Juventus kids shirts , but its a haggle shop , usually go for about 300 Baht

Thank you sanemax, will have a look there saturday. Good to know a rough price as my haggling skills are crap.

  7. Hi, need to get some english/european football jerseys to send back some, they will be in kids aged 3 and 5. Know would be able to get them at the night baazar, but hassle there with parking and haggling. So does anyone know if they are sold in Wararot market during the day or early evening. Also how much do they go for ??? Cheers for any help

  8. Thanks for all the help and advice. After my fourth visit to the bank the ball seems to be finally moving and should hopefully get a document by Friday. Headed to the main branch (where my account is held) after staff looking doubtful/confused seem to have been passed to a very competent member of staff who knows the process. Fee of 100 baht as previously mentioned by people.

    Cheers again

  9. Hi, paid money online for a course July last year. The woman i paid now says I need to show proof I paid the money to her account. I do not have the receipt from online banking and only has a six month history. Went to the bank today to see if they could show the the payment was made, and they are acting like it is impossible to show the transaction. Does this seem correct???? they must keep records of transactions for over 11 months, of who paid who and how much. Anybody have any experience with this situations.

    Thanks

  10. Hi, posted previously about a high car insurance for this year. Have seen this company Roo jai online. Their price is over half cheaper than other companies, but would like to know if anyone has had any experience with them. Don't want it to be a case of you get what you paid for.

    Cheers

  11. Hi, got the bill for this year car insurance over 28,000 baht, last year it was 17,000. It is a two year old two door revo. It is quite a jump, did leave it in to get a few scratches taken out this year. Is with MITSU insurance. Did a few online searches and some are quoting a similar price. Did something change with insurance and two door in the last year? It is still being paid off, is it to to change insurer myself?

Cheers for any help / advice
