SATUN:
Anybody with some "tourist"-info/experiences on Satun?
(mainland, not the islands)
Kind of planning to visit in February.
Maybe Thaleban National Park. Just my suggestion.
Anyone else?

Is this your way to promote for free more visitors to yet another boring floating market-where they sell the very same things as any market at double price? Nice for visiting Malays and Singys-they do not have that at home!
BUT; There is no southern ''proovince''-there are dzoens. Those you mention, Pattani, Narathiwat are on the ''no go' or ''serious warning'' list of about any western nation that heeds its citizens. About daily Thai govmt workers and others get killed in fly-by shootings. Singy's are even much more afraid of any potential danger aon their travels. For the rest: ANY guidebook lists those myst-visit places. Most even with pictures too.
Why don't you stay perched on your bar stool.... and stay safe until you fall off....
Let him with his own world of doubtness.

Wow...looks really nice. Can't wait for others to share! Unfortunately, I've never been that far down south.
Are you in BKK? I think you travel to down south for exciting unforgettable memories.

Hi everyone.
Can I ask who in this forum already bought/owned this motorcycle for daily riding? How about the fuel consumption? Performance?
And the more important is the price when you bought it.
Your testimonial is highly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you should choose Proton Saga. More spacious than this savvy.

Now we are talking!, I learnt to drive in a Ford Consul 375, big bench seat in the front plus a column change gear lever, 3 forward gears, one rear. - like a H on its side!
Also our family had a Vauxhall Victor estate which had a front bench seat, loved driving that motor!
I remember the 375 was the step up for the guy who sold his Triumph Bonneville.
Or Velocette
Ford Consul 375
Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad

That means I visit Thailand as a social visit, then at the same time I purchasing a new vehicle for a daily usage.
Izzit allowed by government of Thailand for it?
yes
ok..
do i need address in Thailand for registration a new vehicle?
Yes. As previous stated you need to obtain a residency paper from Immigration, and to obtain that paper you need to supply the paperwork to prove your 'address' in Thailand and that address is written into your vehicle registration book. You could be renting a place or even renting a hotel room, but you would need the cooperation of your landlord to supply the paperwork required by immigration.
can you clarify what paperwork should i submit when register a new vehicle?

Foreigners can easily buy a vehicle in Thailand. You need a non-immigrant type visa, and proof of residency in Thailand. Usually a copy of your rental contract and copy of the house paper/letter from landlord, and a trip to Immigration office will result in issue of residency paper.
non imm visa not needed, any kind of permit to stay including visa excempt stamp on entry accepted, as short as 14 days. permit to stay must be valid on day of registration vehicle

Nothing to do with being a foreigner yes or no, but with living in the country.ok..I do not reside in Thailand but I want to purchasing a new vehicle in Thailand..
That means i don't have either two..
I hope you can clarify it.
Thanks
Easy clarification: you can not.
why?
izzit thailand government does not allow any foreigner purchasing a new vehicle in Thailand?
oh...
like that..
that mean all foreigner want purchasing a new vehicle MUST live or reside in Thailand.
Otherwise, foreigner does not allow to purchasing it.
Thanks for your information.
