I have already gotten the Permanent Residence and would like to ask. If I quit my job now, do I need to inform Immigration?

Hello, I successfully passed the interview at the begining on this year (2012). Now they allow me to extend the visa for every 6 months. My questions are:

1. Anyone has updates about when we will receive it the real PR so we don't need to go every 6 months?

2. Last time was the first time that I didn't extend the working visa by submitting all the documents, and it seems like everything was fine. So, can I switch my work place?

I was the first queue on 14th March interview. After reading in this forum that applicants from 2006 batch are still waiting, I'm wondering when we will get it tomorrow I will call the officer and see if they give me some insights ....

Does anyone know if this year they will open for applying? Hoping they will this year =(

Does anyone know when will the timeline for this year be for the Permanent Residence opening? I know that it is normally during December and closes in December.

So if anyone has any updates, hope can share it.
