for the paperwork for my son who is half thai and half dutch we are busy in getting his paperwork in order.

we got the whole pack such as our marriage , his birth certificate translated legalised .

now here at cityhall they want his birthcertificate not laminated (not my idea) and stamped for legalisation.

on the certificate they literally print that this document gets only give it out once , also on the back is says that there cannot be anything extra on there such as extra stamps or writing it makes it invalid and punishable by law.

anyone get experience with this?

I think non-o visa holders can get a 30 day extension if you can get a letter from your embassy requesting an extension.  You may be too late for this also depending on your nationality.   What country are you from？

dutch embassy only give letter if for medical rreasons , and since i don't lie i can't get one

It does not matter now really since you will need a Lao visa to enter Laos. No visa on arrival or e visa is available.

my old phone now dead and gone got a new body for the sim heart

still has somehow forwarding set up to a true number it get there automatic after no answer or not available

i doubt the setting is in the phone cos that is no longer in use

hello a posted this a long time ago also but seems to have been deleted or something

i want to learn about making mushrooms and had some nice reply from a guy i think Korat area that can teach me, mainly oyster ,straw mushrooms.

now i still want to do that course but cannot find anything in the forums  about this .

i'm in mukdahan and look for someone that can teach me the whole package in english but also if possible in thai (for the wife)

yup send them on their way , after the first arrest fined 500 Thb. they were found again thistime begging for money to pay for motorbike repair 

be carefull with cooled drinks in hot weather , the iceboxes/ icecubes in yr iced tea. coffe etc. are not very clean in most cases , too much icecold drinks will upset your digestive system, been eating from foodstalls , markets for 12 years now and never had a serious problem , maybe my tummy is a bit stronger than most foreigners ,

i do drink / smoke / party so other than a hangover after a good day not much going on .

take care , avoid ac rooms for long periods if possible 

drink loads of water at room temp.

don't worry about getting sick , your mind can make you feel sick !

would bring some security as many times i copy copied papers for people to bring to a gov. office , and they accept those also ,

not true ,, had a few families from Nigeria in my guesthouse from time ti time , lovely people !

offcourse there are bad apples in every country but 1400 is not so much people from one nationality to stay within one border .

better they focus on patrolling tourist areas for illegal activities , deport , incarcerate etc.
