I think that tighter issues on tourist visas are good. I know a chump (chimp) who has a passport from the UK, Canada, and Auz. He goes to KL and changes books, gets a 60 and then and tghen another thirty at Saphin Hin in HKT. The lil bedwetter is working! He does Journalist stuff, resturant reviews and travel <deleted>. To me he ought to be outed and let a nice Farang guy with a thai wife and kids get the work. I would guess that most of these scoff law wimps are also not paying the taxes back home for what is due and going back and yellin about benefits... Phuket really is becoming a shitehole! No law enforcement, no local authorities willing to take a stand against criminals. It is very true what they say, Thailand is for Thais and they are welcome to it. Plenty of other places in the world with cleaner beaches, rule of law and cheaper too. I have lived worked here for five years and I feel that it has gotten worse in that time. Now all I do is just save all my money, spending s little as I can here in the local economy and counting the days until I leave this so called Pearl of the Andaman. RIP Phuket!!!

I went there last night to see Moo etc. Location Tis on the bend in Sai Yuan, opposite side of the Don's Mall of late that is now a construction site for condos. Moo leases the corner to another person but she is right next door with enought parking. The BBQ sauce, she has the Don's Secret. Thbe previous results were duplicated, even to the next days results! Good Stuff. I'm a regular. Now, if the cou get Fan and Bang back but but the opend Bamboo Cafe just off SaiYuan at Vises Roads lower connect. Take the smallish road across from Moo's down and around the bend and just before the corner you'll see Fan and Bang at Bamboo Cafe. Good Eats. Tis next to OK Bar!! Ditto the bill of fare.

Yes, agree. The road opening I just read about said it went from the Chao Fha East Rd to Sakdidet Soi 1.

Confused me because it seems to be the same road I used to go to Immi over 3 months ago.

It would be nice if they ever finished (linked) the Sakdidet Soi 7 road which would make cross access to the city much easier.

I find that the well established section in the basement of Big C has more crediability. BTW, Big C does have power over the vendors as to honestyl... Have a look at China Air. I'm a mill miler etc with UA but doikng my move flight I did China air so I could get on the UA TH site for the much cheaper tix. Ha Ha.. I haven't been to the U.S. inv Pee Mahk!.

An O-A visa can only be applied for in your home country, or country of residence if you don't live there. I'm not sure if they will accept a Thai health certificate or want a statement from a local doctor, that will depend on the embassy or consulate in question. You will have to contact them about that.

Also note that not every consulate is allowed to issue a O-A visa. Especially honorary consulates are not allowed to issue.

Correction:

Honorary counsulates do in fact issue OA visa's In fact you can not get them in Thailand. It was hasip hasip for me to do my OA outside of LOS. Rather than the current process of getting a multiple reentry permit and the when that expires doing an extension of stay for 1 year and another multiple reentry permit. Note thatg on the first go around make sure you have a good long stay date on you TM/Passport from your last reentry as that will affect the ending date of the newly issue reentry permit. When you go for the extension of stay that date will be a year from the end of the reentry permit and the associated new reentry permit will also be keyed from that date........ Sound a bit nutso... Just do it! it was easier to get a new OA.. BTW, they did accept the med from from a Thai Doc.... Ya can't use the police thing from Police HQ but in most contries it is easy to get./
