I send boxes upto 20kg from Belgium by regular post, no EMS. My folks in Belgium bring it to the post office on Tuesday morning Belgium local time and I get it at my door in CNX by Saturday 2pm. Thats pretty fast and amazing. But I have packages send over from Bkk by EMS and it takes the same time so thats something to think about. All was done by normal post and same guy brings it to my door. Not sure how that comes but don't really care as long all arrive in good condition, thats still the most important to me.

I dont think you will get a spot on the main street but on the side roads it should be no problem. There are less customers on these side roads though. 150 baht per month. If you go to the edges/side roads of the walk street where there is space, the other traders will show you guy who collects the rent. It should be easy.
I think moe666 means you can make some decent money from a little patch of roadside on walk street, the main busy bit anyway.
Who told you it costs 150 THB per month? I know people who sell there each week and they pay about 2K THB per month (and that is not at the prime location).
I went there yesterday and spoke to the people who controle every area. Every area controlled by different people. On the main spot it will be impossible as everybody got his number. Maybe buy somebody out but not sure about that also. But they informed me that on the main spot its actually free to stand only pay for the electric.
Many other places are only 50THB but bad places.

Big money in them little places on the street.
What do you mean?

My wife tried this years ago. She ended up getting a space inside a wat that opened onto the walking market. The reason for that being there is a really long waiting list to get a stand on the street. I asked her if she still had the phone number of the agency in charge of this but she doesn't.
Yes of what I have heard already it seems to be full. At least the places on the street it self.
Thanks for your reply anyway.

Hi all,
My company would like to open some stands on the Sunday Market, Walking street.
Now is there anybody who can advise me who to contact for this?
Any other information about opening a stand is very welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a family insurance.
I have already a car insurance and next year will have a house insurance as well.
What my idea was to maybe do it all with the same agency.
Also my thought was that the banks are more reliable in Thailand then the private company's.

Actually I will not follow anybody I am just on the look for information about any kind of insuarance. If have any advice about this topic you can tell me.

I am a foreigner living and working at Thailand, married with a Thai woman and we are also expecting a baby in March.

I recently stayed at k&k House in chiang mai, its near the center near some big markets and many food places. They have different rooms and different rates. Internet is free only they charge for water and electric but if you stay and not use the aircon your bill will be very low as it was for me. The rooms that are located in the back the sun almost not come in to the windows so it stays cool. They have a website, www.kk1house.com and their email address is //removed//. You can find many photos and information, location on their website. It was a very nice stay there for me and they picked me, very nice people who willing to help with all your needs. Feel free to ask them all your questions they will help you anyway if you stay there or not. I stayed there almost 2 months and saw them help many people with finding the best way to do anything they wanted.
Greetings Erik

Same here been pulled over for turning right into a soi that was forbidden. Went to pay at the station, I was wrong so paid. Once stopped 3am in the city, totally wasted from the whiskey, they didn't even bother to ask a licence and let me go because I was a farrang. So it depends where and when and which cop you meet.
