Guys i need some advice where to go for a good car alarm/immobilizer in pattaya. Tried boy air and sound but he said he dont have it. Im looking for one that disengage the engine when the alarm is on. there was one thread before but its been inactive for some time now
A bit worried coz my friends car got stolen in bkk.

Buying/selling car requires work permit or residence certificate. Either one will do. As long as the work permit is valid or not expired you dont need residence cert

If i have that amount of budget for a car to get pimped, Il get a good second hand car(i.e altis or civic) then spend the rest of the money for engine swap, exhaust, air intake system, suspension, turbo kit etc. Heres a good site to shop around on line for 2nd hand cars thaicar.com
I wont go for brand new if i were you.... but then again it's your own money. good luck

Sorry guys for the late update. Mr.sakda is good and honest mechanic.. My car got serviced twice and both times been satisfied. He charged 800baht for labor plus the spare parts. I recommend this guy

I take the bus from Pattaya to Bangkok all the time. From now on I will make sure to wear my seat belt (if there is one).
