You can drive the car with the red plate anyway in Thailand but not after 6 PM. This is the LAW.

Insurance should cover your car while the car is waiting for the white no plate. Read insurance fine print bro.

Just don't turn up the work. Let them sake ya.

The compressor on my Wife's A Class Merc is faltering, a new one is 70k baht (a special tiny model specifically for the A Class).

My thoughts are to get a working spare from a breakers yard or the local equivalent.
