  1. as I said before BBC and CNN only like when things are bad like Jonathan Head as usual getting ahead of himself and not reporting the corruption in this goverment only je wis you know they stop all the planes in Bangkok :o

How come Australian News are reporting this but CNN and Thai News don't?
  2. Answer It will take at least 2/3 days to clear and check for any possible explosives , 1 month to fix all the damage, and 2 years for travellers to get compensation and 3 years to get some tourist back at least.

Ok, I know here on TV we have all types of experts in the aviation field.

So, my question is assuming the airport is cleared:

-How long would it take to re-open?

-Meaning after cleanups, repairs etc. Does it need to be re-certified as in like when it first opened?

Please list what that would entail. I can't see it going from red light to green light too easily.

This might be a real hassle as prolonging to agony further for travellers.

nothing is going to happen guys until the big boss's big day. at least the bars are still open and drinks available. unless PAD decides to do something about that? oh wait, ThaiBRave is part of them :D so its ok ..

  5. BBC :D There are always on the ball I mean they do know Bangkok is capital of Cambodia right as we know if problem in Cambodia its reported from Bangkok in Cambodia better secure Phnom Phen airport :D

I think it would be wise to not consider ASTV a 'news source', for posts here or otherwise.

Also the 'live feed' shows what their spin doctors want you to see.

    Stick with the BBC.

Yeah, BBC has a long history of being fair and balanced and never spin anything... :o

Whatever source you pick, always be critical.

  6. BBC only reporting India

Like I said in previous post is amazing because usually by now they get the story all wrong, lets hope Jonanthan Head doesnt get ahead of himself sorry about the pun

Does anyone have a link to live bbc world news? I've only got CNN and it seems they can't remove themselves from Mumbai. The tragedy that that is, there are a lot of other stories in the world.

I'd be surprised if the BBC was any better. During the Tsunami, my hotel in Patong only got the BBC, and it was non-stop reporting on India. Barely any mention of Thailand, Indonesia, Sumatra, etc.

The bbc are reporting on the situation. :o

  7. well we all know thet BBC bloe everything up just like when we was healping with the Tsnaumi there are like flies get in the way and report what they want

Just reported on BBC news by Jonathan Head that Pad guards went down to confront the police and clashed with them.

His account is that the police backed down and ran away ( his words not mine. )

Mumbai looks to be ending and the eyes of the world are coming back this way.

Lets hope this ends in the best way possible and no one is hurt.
