Hello,
I would like to build my house in Krabi. Where i have to go to apply for a building permit ? How much it cost to get it please ? What document i need please ?
Thanks

It is clearly spelled out on the main web site under re-entry permit in top menu.
Many thanks Lopburi 3 for your clear information. Now i would like to know, this is my last question When my 1 year extension is over do i have to go out or i can apply for a new one in my immigration office ?
Same procedure and requirements during last 30 days of your one year stay. No need to leave country/obtain a new visa.
Good news, thanks again

Hi Aligator.
The tennis courts you refer to are a part of Thara Park. They are actually free to use and operate on a first come first serve basis. There are 3 cement courts in total. They seem to be busy from after 5pm onwards most days when a regular group of Thai/Chinese descend upon them dressed in their finest tennis outfits. I was having a hit there around this time one day and I don't think they took to kindly to the farang on their turf. Not wanting to tread on any toe's, I decided early morning would be the best time to come. So most sunday mornings I go there about 6am with my 15 year old thai son for a game. It's the perfect time, not too hot, after about 9am the sweat will be pouring out of you.
If you want to join in for a social game then you are most welcome to come along early sunday mornings, just PM me and we can confirm. I'm not an expert but have taught my son how to play and I'm happy to give any helpful tips. At one end of court no.1 there is a wall that has been set up in order to practise your tennis shots against, this is a good exercise for beginners or any rusty players that haven't played for a long time.
So give it a go and good luck!
Hi, i found another tennis court i don't know if everybody can play i will ask but my daughter will get lesson with a thai teacher

Don't leave home without her. Believe she will have to be there in person - know she would for one year extension.

No. You go to Immigration to convert your tourist visa entry to non immigrant entry (if you have more than a week or so remaining) and after that is issued in 60 days or so apply for one year extension of stay from immigration. Cost is 2k to change and 1.9k to extend for one year. Some immigration offices can not do the change so you would visit Bangkok for that process.
If you do not have time remaining to do this you go and get single entry non immigrant visa from a Consulate and then 60 days later do the extension of stay at immigration.
Sorry last question. Do i have to come with my wife to the immigration of Bangkok ?
Thanks again
-
You can only use the office serving your location. If they do not make conversion they will send you to Bangkok for that only and you must return to make actual extension of stay. You must meet the conditions for one year extension of stay to make a conversion (but money would not have to be in account required period for actual extension of stay).
Thanks lopburi3 what document they ask to do the conversion please ?
Cheers
