No, green book needed.
Have shipped a bike from Pattaya to Buriram only 6 days ago via the post office , they want green book and id before shipping , they took photocopies of green book and passport before they would ship . They wrapped the bike ,200 baht , I thought a very good service.

If you have a bank in Thailand use the Bangkok bank transfer system , costs£20 but you get the Thai exchange rate not the UK lower one , very quick efficient service

Went to jontiem Imm myself yesterday , was given the new form to fill in , which I did , gave paperwork for retirement extension /Visa and was out the door in twenty minutes , collect passport today after 2pm , fee 1900 baht. Great service at jontiem.

I didn't bury my head in the sand and saw the drop coming so I TX'ed enough money to last me for the next 18 months ....hopefully by the time I need another injection of cash the exchange rate will have found a happy medium. :-) .
I really hope the EU implodes
I did exactly the same , common sense I think , we'll see

ha ha what do you mean "well done", so they caught one, there are thousands here, total incompetence, just set up a booth in walking street for a start that should catch a few hundred.

I have read a thousand stories, I read them for about 18 months prior to visiting thailand as a friend of mine was living out here and his story was a truly awful one too. If you like someone, you like someone, I spent 7 years with a woman in London and we knocked it on the head, I paid for the holidays and all the other crap, should I think now, I have been mugged off? we fell out of love plain and simple I am not going to force it. Here in thailand I do not see it any differently but your words are wise, only put in what you are prepared to lose so I do calculate the risk but no differently to anywhere in the world.
Can i ask a question because there does seem to be some cautious people here by the ways some are proposing of protecting yourself against loss etc. and one chap who suggested to find a different GF if my mrs got out of line.
All these stories I read I sometimes think well maybe the bloke was a bit of a ladies man, thought he could have his cake and eat it type?
Do you get my drift, I mean if my mrs caught me with someone else I would expect to be mugged off in all manner of ways, no matter what country you are in or her nationality.
Want he asking for advice about a car ???? Not his relationship !!

Sounds to cheap. Are you sure it's original?. Does it have 3M and a code printed on the film?.
Yes, there is 3M code printed on the film . I don't know if the glare ad reflection issues are related to the poor quality or the 60 % of the film, wich is too dark.
My Lacoste T shirts have Lacoste written on them but I bought them in Mikes shopping mall for 200 baht.
Where did you get your windows tinted?
Mikes Shopping Mall as it happens !!!!

Everyone always seems to go to immigration very early in the morning to avoid the rush and get there first. This suggests that people are consciously making a decision to go at the absolute busiest time of the day.
Personally I always go in the mid to late afternoon when it's much quieter. I try to get there about an hour before they close for the day. I've never spent more than 20-30 minutes in an immigration office in Thailand.
Don't tell everyone or they'll all be doing it !!!!!

If you think they're going to let the UK leave the EU , votes, for or against , you need psychiatric help !

How long are you away for?
Maybe find another place to store the car when you're away.
Tell them you do it for "geng jai" (to be considerate) because you don't want it getting in their way when you're not around.
This is the way I would handle the situation , you can do it with a smile on your face and no one gets to loose face , sorted.

I have a few Thai calendars that show the Thai holidays, and none of them show Monday May 9th, as being any kind of holiday.
For government offices it's a holiday , for banks schools ect. It's not . TiT
Just trying to help the OP, because if they are open on Monday, and he goes on Tuesday, then he will have an overstay to deal with.

Well, how many could afford to die then, 150 thou, seems very excessive to me...
MY Mil died early this year , cost 100,000 , donations paid half , 3 day event , no alcohol supplied. Buriram province.

Thank Buddha for jontiem Imm. They've got so slick over the years , in and out in under 1 hit for most things , retirement extension back the next day , but I can live with that!!
-
I live just outside Buriram , go to your amphur office and fill out a couple of forms , take your lady or house owner with and you and blue book , pick up yellow book a couple of days later , as usual a couple of hundred baht tip goes a long way

Utter tosh unless the flight you chose was nearly full. LHR-BKK return has been under £500 for ages and still is, check the website.I used Thai air for 40+ trips from the uk.now their prices have gone through the roof and I flight air Malaysia.the stop over in k-l is quick and easily half price.£1080 Thai or £470 Malaysian.its a no brainer.goodbye thaiair.
Malaysia Air vs Thai Air = Miserable Muslims vs happy Buddhists.
As of this moment , flights to LHR UK , Malaysia air £495 , Thai air £840

They might do better overall with a revised pricing strategy, rather than a new marketing plan.
How true , about 20% more expensive to the UK than other airlines.

I use spinz for movies ,TV box sets ect. , and Dexter pro for live HDTV ,I think it's £4 a month but it's the best live tv add on there is.

Please don't forget the fancy lights underneath and bicycle rims for a higher speed. Full Open Throttle...
Totally pointless additions unless you also go for the genuine fluffy dice hanging from the mirror plus a bit of tinting on the front the windscreen that gives the names of you and your loved one....for example
' Dwain .... TingTong '
And real imported fluffy dice don't come cheap.
Go faster stripes !!!!!
