Been living in Cm for 5 years now, but I'm thinking about moving for a few reasons. Neighbours being one, airport expansion another etc

Where do you guys think are the best places to live around Chiang Mai?

I'm kinda leaning towards San Sai. It's quiet, lots of trees, not too far into town, near Carrefour when the roadworks are finished of course. At the moment it's a pain in the arse to get there!

Also I'm not sure to buy new in a Moobahn, 2nd hand or build.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi all.  I'll be in Chiang Mai from Jan-Mar this year and am looking to rent a house or apartment.  Any advice?  Need 2-4 bedrooms and cheap is best.  Access to a pool would be nice but I realize that adds $$$.  If you know of anyone looking to rent a place or have advice as to how to go about finding something please let me know.
