Yes u.k today give thailand a red notice anyone travelling out of thailand to the uk must do a 14 days quarantine in the uk so maybe they dont believe the figures what they are giving the world plus they can see how close thailand is with the Chinese it was obvious Chinese was the first in do they need $100000 insurance plus the certificate from thai embassy plus the fit to fly certificate plus will they have to do the 14 days quarantine on the islands at what they are asking all tourist them requirements so do the Chinese need all them requirements
No tourists whatsoever are being allowed in at the moment, whether from China or anywhere else.
The reason the UK is not exempting travelers from Thailand from the quarantine is because Thailand is unwilling to do the same for visitors from the UK. They’d be crazy if they did.

It isn’t based on nationality. It is based point of departure.
The UK announcement does not take effect for a week. Expect reciprocal announcements from the other countries soon — otherwise, what aircraft are going to fly from them into the UK if they have to return empty?
This only works if the agreements are bilateral.

Come on...you really don’t know why Thailand isn’t on the list?
It is because travel corridors/bubbles require reciprocal agreement.
Thailand refused to agree to reciprocal travel rights for travelers from the UK, so game off.

Thailand needs tourism. Should consider accepting tourists with confirmed Covid-19 antibodies. Letting in tourists who have already had the disease and are over it, is a no-risk strategy.
Only problem is that there is not yet any scientific consensus that the presence of antibodies conveys immunity.- 1

No AIRMAIL letter or parcel sent to USA since June has left the country. Anybody saying something different is a liar or an idiot who doesn't understand what is happening. We are sending hundreds parcels to USA every month...
I sent them EMS on June 9.
Tracking shows them to have arrived at the customs hub in Chicago on June 22.

He had not even been tested for covid ,he was bleeding from his rectum and the doctor had told them he had only a day or so to live, then they were so surprised when cause of death on his death certificate said Covid.
Well, then I have to say I find this second or third hand tale very difficult to believe.

Funny i was talking to my daughter in the UK a friend of hers father just died he was 90 ,he had terminal cancer ,they put it down as covid ,they are fighting to get it back to death by cancer ,as he did not have covid . very strange times.
So did he die from cancer or did he die gasping for breath because his lungs were riddled with covid? Just because he had cancer does not mean that is what killed him. Yes, it’s true.

I left Bangkok yesterday to go to Krabi. Yes I got cheaper room at hotel across from beach in Ao Nang...
But hotel only has limited food choices to eat at their restaurant. Their spa is closed so went out last night to eat dinner. It quickly turned into not what do you want to eat but what is available.
I walked 2 km from McDonald's (just as location) towards Nopparat Beach direction. Mc Donald's was closed as were Starbucks, 2 Coffee Clubs, Burger King... so was not hopeful for smaller restaurants.
I had a choice of 3 restaurants (also walked side streets).
Today Subway, 1 Burger King and Starbucks re-opened.
This is my 8th trip to Krabi very depressing to see it like this.
I had debated between Aonang and spa resort out in boonies but decided that that was too far out and taxi to go into Ao Nang or Krabi town more than I want to spend. Ao Nang feels very much deserted so I regret not going to the spa resort.
Saw 1 regular massage shop and 1 pharmacy open. No bars open maybe 2 souvenir type shops.
RCA is dead in the
Tourists will not have much to do if it stays like this and would be hard pressed to spend 14 day quarantine here.
I don’t know how to make this any clearer, but travel in the bubble EXEMPTS YOU FROM QUARANTINE.Businesses will open up immediately when it makes economic sense for them to do so: ie, when there are numbers of tourists enough to make it worth their while.

Are you a betting man?
99% China or at the minimum provinces of China will be allowed.
It is possible, but only if ALL bubble countries agree. It won’t be Thailand’s unilateral decision. If I had to bet, I’d say that isn’t going to happen quite yet, but who knows. -

What mailing method did you use for those?
EMS. Cost about 850 baht per A4 envelope.

Well what did when expect. It seems like perfectly common sense to allow China back first. The country that arguably created Coronavirus, then tried to cover it up for two months and told the WHO it had no human to human transmission.
China's production and output is nearly back to normal and they are the only country forecast to have economic growth this year, while the rest of the world has been thrusted into recession.
Why would Thailand invite them back first? Wouldn't possibly be because China are by far Thailands biggest investor
They haven’t said that China is included. It has to be reciprocal, and has to agreed to by all other countries in the bubble.
So I really doubt China will be included.
Singapore, Japan, HK, Korea, and EU are more likely.

Yes, exactly my situation. Arrived at USPS Chicago Customs center on June 22 and both remain there. Not even packages, just envelopes with documents in them.

One more time you didn't understand. There is not airmail AT ALL to the <deleted>SA since June 1st, letters or parcels.
only EMS is possible, and today the situation is still the same. Impossible to know why, as there are many planes to US everyday.
I sent two envelopes to the US on June 9.
Neither of them has been delivered as of today (July 3).
Tracking indicates that they arrived in the US on June 22.

finalized today??? when or where is it published.... are travel bubble countries required quarantine ?
No quarantine required within the bubble. Only those arriving from outside the bubble.

The idea of "travel bubble" is not tied to nationality/passport, but location. It will mean that there is a free travel corridor between countries that vow reciprocity and to control entrance to the bubble. So if you are "in the bubble", it won't matter what passport you hold. But if you leave the bubble you are going to have to be quarantined (at least) in order to get back in.

We're talking about a massage with benefits place.
Some factors to consider --
HIV impacts gay and straight people. It's the unprotected sex acts that are the issue, not the flavor. Also of course dirty needles that has nothing to do with orientation.
It's legal to be gay and to have gay sex acts in Thailand.
Massage with benefits places are in effect quasi legal. I think we all know that they put on a front of only selling massage services and what happens between two people is their business. Very similar to bar scenes.
People engaging these services do not always engage in any penetrative sex at all, much less UNPROTECTED penetrative sex.
It's totally irrational that this thread be dominated by homophobic Aids posts and jokes in that context. Gay people can have sex anywhere.
Bottom line is that this bust was obviously about an immigration issue, not a gay sex issue, and not a prostitution issue.
Any possibility that people can focus on what the bust was really about? I know. Not possible. So predictable.
Because many members of this forum clearly have IQ’s in the low double digits.

Yep, and I’ve got news for you all: the straight female hookers don’t find their male clients any more sexually attractive than these straight male sex workers find their male customers. It’s equally unpleasant for both — but yes, most jobs are.

my bad, did not realise the half naked boys where there for the purposes of Thai massage.
Have you never been to a dodgy massage parlor before? You pay for and receive a massage. “Extras” are not mandatory and are between you and the masseur, and you tip accordingly. That is how these places avoid the distinction of being a “brothel”, which directly sell sexual services. It is the same the world over.

Testing the workers is useless without testing the customers. Even if you did test, the latency period makes it useless. It is amazing how much ignorance there still is after nearly 40 years.

I tried to mail a letter to USA today via Thai Post

The letter I sent to the US by EMS on June 9 arrived at the Chicago sorting facility on June 22.
I just got a tracking update that it finally left the facility for delivery on July 12 -- after having sat there for nearly three weeks.
Thanks, USPS.
