Did uk visa last week. If your wife is going personally to vfs (and not agent) then NO photo required. Vfs bkk take digital photos and finger prints when doing the biometrics.

They were late for lunch

I recommend 5 Oceans in PP they do all my visas and paperwork (just need 1 photo), very reliable and good English. They may have a contact in SR or can sort something. Inc visa - $45 for 4 days and $60 for next day plus obvious travel time and cost SR PP. Google 5oceanscambodia

Thanks. I have no problem searching for prices based on my dates in November come back Feb. It was more a question about the quality of planes and service.
Based on my date Gulf are only 413gbp return (inc tax) compared to my usual preferred airlines they are 105gbp cheaper, when 4 are travelling that's effectively means 1 of us "travels free". The duration is 16hr 25. -
I'm interested to know if you've had experience of Gulf air or Oman Air london to bkk?
Their prices seem cheap, but a Bahrain airline concerns me a little, from a security aspect.
Also what's the condition of the planes and services?
Thanks

Depends when you fly. Skyscanner says the same price in August £2000 100k baht. But qatar and emirates better and cheaper for a couple of hours more.

Thanks so much everybody. You allayed my fears and saved me money in the process. Great online community.

Has anyone had experience with the Thai embassy in Singapore obtaining a Thai tourist visa?
I'm a UK citizen just completed a METV (from UK) and SETV (from Phnom Penh), plus have a number of previous visas and visa exempt stamps.
How strict and bureaucratic are they?
Do you need to show booked flights in/out of Thailand?
(I won't have this, as I like to be flexible)
Are there travel agents that can do the process on your behalf (and make up a travel itinerary?)
How long does it actually take? On their website it says 5 working days??
Anything else I need to be wary of?
Thanks in advance.

1) Which branch?
2) what type of account?
3) what address did you use? (ie do you rent a condo or hotel address?)

I recommend using 5 Oceans travel agency on Pasteur 51 (between 208 and 214st) - $5 fee and they can create a free travel itinerary for the embassy if needed. Just need 1 photo, they do the rest. I've used them 4 times before.

Hi, has anyone had a health check up at BCH, they seem to be the cheapest by far compared to others, so interested if anyone has experienced their health check up.

Anyone recommend a good agent in Phnom Penh to sort out a Thai multi entry tourist visa for a UK citizen?
Or is it just as easy to do it yourself at the embassy.
Can you get a triple entry tourist visa for Thailand from Phnom Penh? Or is it only single or double entry?
Any ideas of costs and timings?
Thanks

Fair enough, but a number of government offices are effected with the protests, that's basically what I was implying.

I have a couple of questions.
1) How long does it take to renew an expired Thai citizen passport in Bangkok?
2) with the current protests in Bangkok, is it difficult to get to the immigration offices to renew the passport, as I read somewhere that they are protesting there.
Thanks in advance

Classic service tonight at Junceylon!
Ordered a cheese burger and a lime soda.
What I received was the cheese board and a lamb shank!!
Must have been my northern English accent?!

I've answered my own query, incase anyone else has the same query.
Yes it is possible to check in at phuket to connect through to an international flight for certain carriers.
75 minute min transit required.
Here's a link http://www.bangkokair.com/pages/view/check-in-through
