I was comparing the price to US prices. 8,000 excluded sales tax so even if it was 9,000 US including tax etc... the price in Baht would then be less than 300,000THB.

Yes, if you compare to the price in the UK it's not that bad.

Anyway I thought the bike was (partial) produced in Thailand so expected a better price.

I know it's no comparison but I guess I'll buy a honda CB650F.

Just seems better priced.
