  1. Hello,

I'm on a 1 year Non-Immigrant O Multiple Entry visa which says enter before: 2. Nov. 2017. I entered Thailand yesterday and the entry stamp says: admitted until 19. nov 2017.

    Which one I should follow?

If I understand correctly - once I enter before Nov 12th I will get another 90 days, right? If I follow entry stamp then my visa is gone, is that right? (= no more 90 days)

The main reason I ask is that I basically want to get a new 1 year Non-Immigrant O Multiple Entry visa, will it be a problem to get it before 2. Nov? (as the old one will be still valid?) Or its not a problem? I plan to exit the country on end of Oct and apply for new visa and then use that one.

    Thanks.

  2. So I got my Non-Immigrant O, multiple 1 year visa here in Dubai. All went smoothly, application took about 10 minutes, collection as well.

Q: I'm still not really familiarised with the process of non-immigrant visa, so from now I have to go to immigration every 3 months with my wife to get extensions or I still have to leave the country? Or it's up to me which option I choose?

    Thank you.

  3. I tried to call them to confirm what documents I will need, first the lines were busy for few minutes, now when finalled answered it was all just a computer system talking.

Here is what I can provide, will be these enough for getting me a non-immigrant-o marriage visa. I'm doing this first time (I stayed always on tourist visa), so I want to be sure everything will be alright:

    - filled out visa application form
    - passport with validity not less than 6 months
    - 4 x 6 cm photograph
    - evidence of adequate finance (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family)
    - proof of Thai nationality of spouse (copy of her passport)
    - copy of marriage certificate
    - proof of income

    Thanks.
  4. Hello there,

I will be applying for the new METV visa for the first time after they changed it and I noticed that its required to show proof of residence of the country where I'm applying (ie my home country).

The thing is I am not a resident in my home country.

Will I be able to get the visa just with passport or I will have to show some utility bill or other kind of proof?

    Thanks a lot.

  5. Hi 2ge,

from yesterday I experience the same problem with port 22. I use it everyday for my work and it just stopped working.

I already reported this issue to 3BB and they contacted with me and said they unblocked it for me, anyway it is still not working.

I even let an employee from 3BB to remote desktop connect, but he just see it not work for real.

Don't know what is happening here..

  6. I see today is more windy than the rest of the days, however it's nothing unusual in this season.
Then I saw this shared on FB:

Apparently its going to hit Hua Hin, but Koh Samui is in the marked area as well.

When I opened webcam, I see the waves are quite bigger today (never see big waves at in the calm bay of Crystal Bay): http://www.samuiwebcam.com/crystal_bay_koh_samui.html.

They say it coming on Thrusday/Friday, probably with a lot of rain.

What do you think, do you have more information on this?

Link to the map: http://atlas.pdc.org/atlas/ (maybe someone of you can read it more good)

  7. Hi there,

I've been out of the island for 2 months. Today me and my gf took our usual way to the Choeng Mon beach - between Family Mart and Massage and what we see - that area become a private property.

We just want to swim before sunset and we see motorbikes inside so we ignore it. The surprise waited us on our way back. The gate was locked.

However we've not been alone - also local thai people follow us, then one of them call a worker from a nearby restaurant and together they opened the gate from the side and closed it back.

I not have my camera with me, so I cannot take a picture, but it is sad. Now I know there is way going through the Hotel Sala from the left side of the beach or then I remember there was a road on the right side too. This one was a good spot on the middle of the beach.

    Sad, but money rules.

  8. This makes me crazy anytime I pass it too. But hey! This is Thailand, many of those people on motorbikes and in cars, have no driving licence, also I think this is the only roundabout on the island, they have no idea how to drive there, so it is absolutely random. Just be careful next time and watch the traffic. My 2 cents.
