  1. Hello Everyone,

Just for my own peace of mind- could someone please confirm this-

I am due to go home- back to the UK-from Bangkok; On the 30th of July'13.

Here's the thing- I entered Thailand on a two month Visa from NZ, on the 30th April 13, which took me to the 27th July. I then extended the Visa for 30 days- taking me to 28th July'13.

I am booked to leave on the 30th, So by my rational, I have 'overstayed' by one extra day (29th)- which is free- and I am leaving on the 'second' day (30th), however the flight isn't till the evening (7.30pm).

Here's the question- have I overstayed by one day or two? Do I now need to pay and tell immigration?

I am not sure really why this has got me panicked - but lately here in Thailand, what with all the death on transportation, I just want to get home as hassle free as possible.

Thanks in advance for the answer.

  2. Hello,

Please advice- I want to take a bulk load of 'retina a' cream home. I do know when Ill be back to Thailand- and some of my friends also want some so will this be a problem- packed in my checkin luggage.?

The main reason for doing this is cost. Plus this stuff is very effective.

I checked out the customs page- and it says anything up to the value of 10k (bht) is non taxable. The tubes come in 25g ( I was planning to take 30 plus home.) According to the above allowance I could take up to 60 tubes home.

I don't think im doing anything wrong- ? You can buy them over the counter here in any pharmacy here, I don't know how its classified- as medication or cream, which effects custom charges.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Does it need to be declared, should it be placed in checked luggage etc-

Im returning home, im female and traveling alone, last thing I want is to be detained or worse. My flight is from bkk- lhr with india Airways.

    Thanks in advance.
