  1. Hey everyone, been trying to get some info on a few things regarding birth control. I'm from the UK, and they haven't given me a years supply from my Doctors SO was wondering if there was anything simlair to buy over the counter in Thailand?

They are called "Levest 150/30" and contain Levonorgestrel 150 Micrograms and Ethinylestradiol 30 mg and take 1 daily.

    Thanks for the help :)

Now can I use my 3rd tourist visa before the 25th of May giving my till the 25th of July, then using my 30 day extension till the 25th of August?

I will be booking return flight for my girlfriend encase she needs to head home or giving her chance to extend her flights to Max out another Double tourist visa we shall get issued from Savannakhet Laos.

    Thanks for your help :)

  3. Hey everyone have researched around the forum alittle but need alittle advice!

Me and my girlfriend are planning on leaving the UK sometime in early November 2013 spending a month in Northern Thailand, December in Vietnam, January in Cambodia, Feburary in Laos, then back into Thailand and hopefully in Koh Tao for March 2014 as I’m wanting to start my PADI scuba training there to be an instructor.

Basically by the time we come to Koh Tao in March 2014 we need to have the most possible time allowed on a tourist visa as possible for my girlfriend.

This so far is a very rough plan! But we were think of obtaining a triple tourist visa from the UK before coming which would be better for peace of mind, but relieased we are wasting the time from when it was issued being issued as we are in other countries.

Would it be better for me just to fly into Thailand in November and get 30 days on arrival by air and spend a month in Thailand. Followed by Vietnam,Cambodia,Laos Then applying for a double entry visa in Laos either Vientiane or elsewhere therefore we will get a 180 days from March 2014.

Or would it be better to arrive in Thailand in November on a triple entry visa and extend this just before it expires from date of issue IN March 2014?

Hope you guys can clear this up for me, cheers smile.png

  4. Hi there had a few questions regarding the Multiple entry tourist visa, I have searched the site for some information with some questions left unanswered!

Been saving the last few years for a lifestyle change and hoping to do some travel around South East Asia before heading out to complete my IDC over in Koh Tao everything is very much in planning stage at the moment so sorry the dates/intinerry are abit vague but here's a few questions!

Was planning on getting a triple entry tourist visa from Hull before setting out to Thailand around the October the 1st 2013, how long does the turnout from Hull in the UK usually take if sent by post these days?

These dates are very loose but Plan on arriving into Thailand around the 1st of November spending time in the Northern areas till approx. the 1st of December before crossing into Laos, spending a Month in Laos before arriving in Northern Vietnam for approx. the 1st of January travelling down the southern Vietnam crossing into Cambodia approx. the 1st of February spending up to a month in Cambodia before crossing back into Thailand to use my 2nd Tourist visa from end of Feburuary/ beginning of March using as much as my 2nd visa’s 60 days before returning to getting my 3rd tourist visa stamped then returning to Koh Tao for another 2 months in May and June, then getting my 3rd tourist visa extended for a further 30 days till the end July. I would possibly change this around but it's just to give me an idea of times and location

I Plan on completing my IDC on Koh Tao where I was told they could give me visa assistance in getting a 12 month educational visa.

The question Is when I get my tourist visa/educational re-stamped when I have to report in every 60/90 days from Koh Tao do I have to report back to the Thai Embassies in Penang, Vientiane etc or can I just get my Visa stamped at one of the borders crossings when people do there 15 day visa runs such as Hat Yai in south?

If anyone could clear some this up for us would be great cheers smile.png
