  1. Ok, thanks for the advice.

The first lady I saw to extend our visas did the paperwork for mine then told me I had to talk her boss about my families extension and this "boss" told me no I need to get them a new visa. I sure there's someone higher in command so I guess I'll try again next week.

I had all the documents required she just pointed at single and said I can not extend theirs because of that. I guess she is just giving me a hard time.

This is from Chon Buri Immigration in Pattaya.

  2. Yes I have my extension of stay it expires Nov 9 2015 now. I just renewed it Monday and I tried to extend theirs at the same time.

The lady at immigration said they could only extend for 7 days when it runs out because they have the single not multiple "O". She pointed at the Entry type "s" and said can not.

I do remember there was a sign at the embassy in Manila saying single 90 days (1900 Baht) and multiple 1 yr (6000 Baht). I thought I could just extend like I did with mine but immigration here said no.

So are you saying I cant get the multiple she was talking about? I thought they should get the same date as mine when I extend it at immigration.

  3. Hello,

I go to university here in Thailand and last month I got my Filipino wife and daughter non "O" dependent visa with my ED visa in Manila.

The problem is I mistakenly got the single entry (90 days) instead of the multiple 1 yr visa.

This time I will go get the 1 yr from Laos or Cambodia in December. My question is will I need to get my marriage/birth certificate translated to Thai? Both of the documents are from Philippines in English.

I didn't have to get them translated when I go their 90 day "O" from the Thai Embassy in Manila, Philippines. I was thinking that might be because the embassy is in Philippines.

    Thanks in advance.

  4. I crossed Koh Kong 2 days ago. Got there at 930 am. Thai side didn't even want the copies I made of everything. Greenbook, Passport is all they wanted. I finished everything on Thai said in about 5 mins. Then on the Cambodian side I had one tout try to fill in my arrival card, I told him you can fill it out if you want but I'm not paying you. Lol he quickly gave me my documents back. Then showed my E-visa and got my stamp and was on my way. No one told me to go to customs. Total time at the border couldn't have been more than 10 mins I was impressed.

  5. This will be my first crossing on the motorcycle. I will cross VIA Koh kong in a few days. What do I do when I get to the border just leave my bike outside and go inside to fill out paper work or do they do it outside for vehicles? I already have my E-Visa for Cambodia.

  6. I had the same problem for the last 3 days. Today I ran CCleaner, Avast virus , Hitman Pro, MalwareBytes. Now its working again. No idea which one finally fixed it.
