Thailand has it all. It is paradise for me but I do realise it isn't everybody's cup of tea.
It certainly has it 'all'
If not for the mrs I would be on the first plane home, the longer I am here (many years) the worse my opinion gets of Thailand and Thais, even the language annoys me! I don't know where all these pretty women are, most are plain or ugly. The only decent looker in our moobahn of 700 homes is a pure Chinese woman who hardly speaks thai
Every country has its list of "too much, too many, too etc." Personally, I'll take Thailand's list over America's.

Speaking just for Chiang Mai...
- It's cheap
- It's warm
- People smile at you
- You can get by speaking just English
- The food is excellent
- Thai massage is like $4 for an hour
- The laws are lax
- Visas are easy to get
- The girls are pretty
- The expat community is large and fairly diverse
If Chiang Mai don't make you happy, probly ain't nowhere gonna make you happy.

A friend of mine no longer living in Thailand has asked me to sell her scooter that she left here two years ago. She was planning to return but family issues prevented it.
I have the blue book, which is in her name. Is it possible to transfer ownership if she is not present to sign it over?
Many thanks!

Where does one go to get the really complicated stuff like engine rebuilds done? Is there anyone that actually has some attention to detail or am I better off doing it all myself?

I've seen this question asked so many times with no answer that I'm starting to think there really are no good mechanics in Chaing Mai.

Hi all,
I have a Raider 150 that I would like to get rebuilt with a bigger piston, stroker pin, port & polished head, cam, etc.
I obviously don't trust just anyone to do the work. We are in Thailand after all.
Thanks!
Can I sell a scooter for someone not in Thailand?
