Karen, did you end up finding a place in Lanta?

I'm hoping to stay in Kantiang Bay for around 5 weeks in January/February of 2014 and getting quoted at least 45,000 baht per month for "modern villas" (more like clean little 1/2 bedroom houses).

My biggest concern is avoiding a place with roaches!

I'll be staying in Ko Lanta (on the far south of the island, in Kantiang Bay) for 1- 2 months.

I'll need to use the Internet everyday, esp. for stable, high-quality Skype voice calls to the U.S.

Which USB dongle service would be the best option?

I'm currently looking at DTAC and True H but open to paying for the most reliable service.
