  1. for thai language, this school was good to me

Sirada Language School on Petchkasem - they can be reached on 032532650

    welcome to hua hin wai.gif

    Galaxy Pest Control has always done what we want competently. +66 (0) 32 534 997, +66 (0) 86 747 9199, [email protected]

Ive also heard that Hua Hin Pest Control is good, 0874737217

Finally, Steve Coulman - 089 910 9367. Good, reliable and Eco-friendly. The Thai places use strong poisons and chemicals that are banned in the west; this guy uses stuff that won't bother humans but seems to work on bugs.

As for a vet for your pooch, there are many around town and surly one in your neighborhood that would be good enough and convenient for shots. If something more serious I would use the big veterinary hospital on the highway just south of Takiab.

Thanks Ukjase, will give them a call as soon as we settle down :)

Thanks for the advice of the pest control Hhfarang, and do you have the name of the vet in takiab? Tried to google it but couldn't find their web-site.

  2. hhnmp,

Where exactly is Thai Taste? It sounds like a place we would like to try.

Its located at the left hand side of Nong Plub road right after Beverly Hill, you will see a restuarant with a balcony and orange light and there it is :)

  3. I am no pizza expert, but so far the best pizzas I've found in Hua Hin (and they both fit your preference with thin crust and traditional toppings) is at:

    - Casa Mia, up the Pala-U road about 500 meters up after the left turn, then it's on the right-hand side

    - La Grappa, rather expensive restaurant in the center of Hua Hin, but their pizzas are delicious and actually not too pricey at all

Thanks for the reply, I live in Chiang Mai and last time someone posted in the local forum that they like one of the pizzereias there was 145 replies. I actually know them both from my last time here 3 yrs ago so they must be good if they are still open! I'm here with my Thai kids on vacation and they love real Italian food.

    - Casa Mia, up the Pala-U road about 500 meters up after the left turn, then it's on the right-hand side

I am bad with names, but I think this might be the place I used to go to a fair bit....

From the Main Street going through town, turn left at the police station towards the beach. Half way down, another left turn onto a s,aller road, and the pizzeria is on the right hand side.

Are we talking about the same place?

And on the main road going down to the beach on the right hand side there is a gelato place for after dinner dessert

    :licklips:

The best piza is Bella Piza in Cha-Am go from Hua-Hin 15mins turn right at the Forest Park just down on the left new premases used to be in Soy Bus station.

Pizza Casamia is our favourite as well! Their four cheese pizza and penne with shrimp and zucchini are practically the best of all other Italian restuarants we tried in Thailand, but we heard from few friends who lives in Hua Hin said Bella Pizza is very good as well so we will definitely go try them out! Lets hope its not too difficult to find ;)

  4. Hi everyone i just moved to Hun Hin with my husband, just got our household container arrived from Hong Kong and we are currently searching for few different services to make our new life easier... we are searching for a helper for house cleaning twice a week, pest control on a monthly bases and a gardener who can make the service twice a month as well.

Last thing is a reliable vet as we have a 14months old Belgian Shepard with us and i realized its time for him to make the injection (the annual type)..

Thanks for your time and truly appreciated for any advice :)

  5. Have been travelling to Hua Hin vesiting family for 5 years already, my favourite Thai and Italian restaurant are both located at Nongplub Road. The thai place called Thai Taste, fantastic simple Thai food (not seafood) with reasonable price, the raw shrimp is a Must Try dish as u dont find the sauce anywhere else, the house wine they have are pretty drinkable as well and the staff all speak pretty good english which is quite unusual. The Italian place called Pizza Casamia which is right opposite to Hua Hin School which also serve drinkable house wine, food are absolutely amazing especially the seafood pasta and four cheeze pizza! The staffs dont speak very good english but always with a wonderful smile on their face, the boss is an old Swedish guy who always chat with customer.

For Japanese food i really like the one at Patkasam road Soi 94 called Okura, Food are absolutely delicious, staffs are kind and professional as well and the price is very reasonable.

All three places i recommended above are nothing fancy, but created a wonderful cozy atmosphere that warm your heart :)

For good Thai seafood running like industy i recommended Chao Lay at the pier close to Hilton and another one i dont know the name but its on the Clock Towel road and right opposite of the entrance of Night Market.
